Aizel smiled and huddled in his chest again.
"I don't think so. I checked all the floors and there's no entrance to an attic whatsoever. And besides when you look at it from outside the house, it's obvious that there aren't any windows that show there is an attic." she stated and rubbed her eyes. She seemed to always be getting sleepy.

The voice got louder and seemed to multiply as it came from everywhere. A small lightning struck, illuminating the room. The only sound was that of the whistling wind and the drumming rain.
"Help me." a prolonged moan suddenly echoed in the room. A light scratching sound came from the other side of the right wall, sounding like nails on a chalkboard would. "Help me" the plead came again.

There was no respond. The wind carried her question throught the hallways and her voice echoed throughout the house.
"Help me!" again, the voice called, but this time is sounded more clear and vivid. It was inside the room now. The distant tainted plead now sounded just behind Katia.

The room hadn't changed... much.
The shattered glass of the windows was whole again and the ripped remains of the curtains seemed to have been magically sewn back in place. The room was now tidy. The blood on the bookshelf had vanished, the crimson stained carpet was clean again. The only thing that seemed out of place were the two bloodied bodies on the bed. A man, young, blonde, blue eyed, stabbed in the chest held a petite woman to his chest. She was young also. Too young to die. The skin on her neck was bruised.
Strangled. That was how she had died. Suffocation.
The two were looking into each other's eyes, lovingly, longingly. They would've seemed almost alive if it wasn't from the many layers of bright undried blood that covered them both.

The man's arm twitched. His lips parted.
"Help me!" he whispered. He was still alive.
