The lions have come back...

Dark scented the approaching smell of wolf, and leaped away. Not sure where to strike, he created a shadow whirlwind to try to hit the enemy, and did his best to tell where to strike next.

Dark's mind: Well, great. I can become almost invisible, but that wolf is better than me. I must create a powerful attack that hits all the area around me to enable a sure strike. But how?

Dark, leaping at the sky, sends a massive shadowstorm down at all that is below him. It would not cause any damage, but it should help reveal Alex's location because their body will interfere with the wind. Knowing where to aim now, Dark leaps off the tree with a claw ready to slash at the enemy.

Dark's mind: Ha! that wolf found me, now I will find them! Time to show who this land really belongs to!

Dark springs back. He knows that he has hit, but also hurt himself.

Dark's mind: Argh! So that is how they do it. I must use attacks that do not involve any contact.

Dark waits, hoping that the magic will wear off.

Dark's mind: I must take use of this. I have a Idea.

Dark creates a shadowstorm strong enough to take some of Alex' flame. Converting that flame into a shadowfire, Dark sets his own body on fire without taking harm.

Dark: Well, now I am immune to your flames. all fire that touches me will be converted into my own.

Dark gains speed and slashes at Alex.

Alex feels his claws on her back leg but doesn't yelp. She focused all her energy and made a fire/ moon force field around her then slammed into the lion.

Dark leaps back from the blow. Though the got hit at full force and took great, The hit made his fire burn even stronger.

Dark: Every time you hit me with fire, part of it gets converted into shadowfire and makes my flames burn stronger. Come on, hit me again. *Dark smiles evilly*

Dark created a shadowstorm with the shadowflame in it. He launched it at Alex.

Dark's mind: this one is pretty large, it can't miss. It should weaken the wolf.

Then Zeillon making a horrid laugh made the shadowstorm go away and made night as black as it's eyes.

Dark, seeing he is overpowered, leaps on a tree where no one can get him.

Dark: Whatever. I will be taking a chunk of territory anyway.

Hazel spots the lion and at the same time, she's thinking a way to get the lion. Without even telling Alex, she jumps from branch to branch until she has a perfect view of the lion.

Dark makes the shadowstorm stronger so that it knocks hazel down, while running away faster.

When at a safe distance, Dark says: Look, I was just watching you. no need to make a big fuss. I I gotta do is get a little territory, then no one will get hurt.

Dark then takes off, leaping in to the darkness.
