NUUUUUU! I wrote a giant post and the shtupid thing restarted!!! DXXX

Mason cocked his head to the right and looked at the strange boy from under his semi-long black hair. Big blue eyes gazed at Nyx with a confused and amused look. Mason let go of Pixle's hand and folded his arms behind his back shyly. He was always wary with new people and the boy seemed strange to him.
"Hello." he mumbled.

Nyx nodded to the boy "Hiya...." Looking over at Pixle with a confused and concerned look, he nodded to Mason and bit his lip
"OH GOOD LORD NO!" she snapped, knocking him in the nose "Now then, mind getting the kid something to eat?"
"Sure!" he looked down at Mason and grinned " I aint gonna bitcha kid, whatcha want?" he asked calmly, wiping off his handa dn putting his hands on his hips

Charlie hung over Y'Miel's shoulder, arms drapped across his chest. He had finnished babbling about jelly fish and his home country. He dipped in and out of contiousness, picking up snippets of an angry Aizel. She was enraged about pizza and...Mason. Blinking a few times, Charlie watched the fire burn in Aizel's eyes, her anger seemed to fill the small house.

Vex waited until the end of the girl's rant, then excused himself to the bathroom. Glancing in the mirror, he saw the face that sometimes frightened him. The brunette reached into his pocket and produced a bottle of Zydrate. The blue liquid danced about, as he swished the glass container. Pulling a syringe from a tiny cloth pouch, Vex located a spidery vein in his neck. Flicking the blue line a few time, it began to bulge. Quickly, Vex emptyed the syringe and returned to the kitchen.

Pixle rolled her eyes a bit with a sigh, her adoptive brother smirked over at her and rolled his eyes as well "you planning on spending the night?" he mouthed
"most likely...repo are on parol tonight, more than usual..." she mouthed back, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall

Drifting through a state of semi-consciousness, Charlie closed his eyes, allowing the darkness to set in. A faded version of Aziel's voice rung through his ears. The yelling escalated, drowning out the boy's thoughts.

Tip-toeing across the hallway, the webbed handed, one eyed brunette, sulked into the shadows. Exausting had set in and the argument in the kitchen had been enough to handle. Vex frowned, his eyes dimming. He couldn't catch a break in the world. Bad luck pummeled him; Repos were always on his tail, he had one eye, Aizel didn't trust him. Sighing, he rested his back against the corner of the room. Allowing his eyes to slip shut, he settled into a restless nap.

Pixle sighed "Mason sweets, do you want anything to eat?" she asked, looking over at the small boy, her eyes glinting a bit. The melanic figure snickered a bit, turning on his heel and walking into a hidden room for a few minutes

Pixle smiled and laughed a bit "anything you prefer?"
"Hey kid, here" Dannyx stepped from the room and handed Mason a cookie.
"Dannyx!" she snapped "e hasn't eaten anything, you can't just give him a cookie and think it's O-K!"
Dannyx laughed this time "Why not? you snuck cookies all the time
An embarrased blush crossed pixle's face as she rolled her eyes "Well, I didnt..you...UGH"

Katia closed the book and put it back in the bookcase. 'The Hobbit,' it's cover read. She sighed and took a lot another book, clutching it to her chest and stepping back over to the armchair. She opened the book, yawning, and proceeded to read.

Mason stepped backwards a little and lowered his head shyly. He locked his gaze with his feet and kept quiet. The cookie looked awfully delicious but he didn't have the courage to take it from the scary dark boy.

Katia grabbed the book and stood up. She stretched her arms and strolled over to the door. She opened it and stared at the man outside her door. Blinking, she quietly asked, 'and who may this be?' politely nodding her head.


Can we say he's new? XD Like she's had more but they died/quit. 😃 died protecting her or quit because she made their life hell.

Hugging his kness, Vex watched as the older man dashed off carring Charlie like a sack of potatoes. The blonde's arms dangled limp, black dried blood caked on his palms. The webbed handed boy sighed, closing his eyes to relinquish the auora of blood. In his short life, Vex had seen enough blood to keep a vampire fat and happy. Tonight, after enduring yelling and screeching from multiple people, Vex decided to isolate himself. Only now was the Zydrate kicking in; the pain in his eye, shoulder and ribs evaporated. In the darkness, Vex spotted something on the floor. The object was the size of a small cat and had not moved. Having delt with numeous Repos, Vex too extra caution. Crawling on his stomach, he reached the object. It was soft and had a velvet-y texture. Holding it up to the light for a better look, he realized it was one of the young boy's stuffed animals. It resembled a creature he had only read about. A dolphin. The grey animal had shiny button eyes. The brunette smiled and held the plush against his chest. He had never had a toy like that before. Smiling, he cuddled with the dolphin and fell asleep.

Despite the clearly harmless atttitude of the man towards him and Pixle, Mason couldn't help but frown. Nyx seemed like a simple jokster, yet that did not count as an excuse for him to treat the younger boy as a kid.
"You're not funny. I'm not taking anything from you. Where am I? Who are you? I trust Pixle and ONLY Pixle!" Mason had been pretty close to yelling but refrained from raising his tone any further. "I am not allowed to wander away from the house without Y'miel or my sister."
His eyes had darkened greatly and he was now glaring daggers at the boy. The sweet kid from earlier was gone. On his place stood an angry, intelligent and demanding being that, if not for the appearance, sounded like a young adult.
Yes, sometimes Mason truly proved to be Aizel's brother...

#639 bowed deeply to his mistress but strictly avoided ee contact as he stood up.
"I am your new guardian, mistress. Your wish is my command. I live to serve and protect you." he chanted, as he was taught to repeat. In all truth, he despised all of the strict rules that the REPO had put on him, but he had not yet found a way to oppose to the company.

Nyx frowned some, shrugging and putting the cookie on the counter as he went back to work "Well alright then" he replied, keeping his head low.
Pixle sighed a bit "You needed to get out of that house though, Mason" the girl sighed and sat back in one of the dinner chairs, giving her leg a rest. Letting out a yawn, the girl sighed some "I don't want to suggest wwe go back, but you dont seem to want to be here.." she sighed a bit, looking up as the boy stopped
"Pix you could always just take the boy home and come back later...."
"Im not going to leave him there on his own" she replied, lowering her head a bit and crossing her arms "Mason, honey if you're hungry, you can eat you know, Nyx is my brother, he's not going to hurt you because if he even accidentally spits in your direction, I'm going to hurt him so bad that he'll turn into a girl!" she joked.

Mason's head snapped to the left stubbornly and he turned away from Pixle, tears filling his eyes. He had no desire to be seen crying so he shaded his eyes from view and wiped the droplets away.
"I ... want to go home." came the choked sob. He surprised himself with how pathetic he sounded. His logical mind failed to compose more sentences so he just babbled on. "Home is safe. Outside isn't. The REPO could get us and..." he let out a whimper in the middle of the statement. "...if Izzie and Yumi go out looking for me... they can get attacked by the bad men and... then what will I do?"

He failed to regain his composure and just kept on sobbing. He didn't care anymore if Pixel's brother (Nyx or what his name was) saw him bawling. All he had ever known was home and it was the only safe ground he had. Away from home meant trouble, danger, death...
"I'm not supposed to leave the house..." another sob racked his frame. "Please, I want home! Pixle, I want home."

He turned around and took hold of Pixle's overly long sleeve and gave it a pleading squeeze. His royal blue eyes were now filled with overflowing tears. His cheeks were stained with dry droplets that streamed down to his chin. His lower lip quivered. "I want home..." he repeated again, clinging to the older girl.

"I am your new guardian, Mistress. Your wish is my command. I live to serve and protect you." he chanted, as he was taught to repeat.
Despite the girl being half his size, #639 could catch a glance from her. She was honestly the smallest girl he'd ever seen. Thin and fragile, she definitelly didn't seem the type to survive a day outside. Her royal purple eyes pierced him and, despite her size, he shuddered unintentionally at her gaze. She was a strange bird, that one.
"What will your first order be? I am here to serve your commands."

Placing the boy onto the nearest armchair, Y'miel quickly darted to the medicine cabinet, swishing it open. He picked up a few liqiud bottles and tucked them under his arm, grabbing a bundle of bandages on his way back to the living room. The wound on Charlie's side was bleeding profusely, staining the armchair. He sighed, noting himself of the oher armchair and the couch, which were stained with red too. He paid no care to that, after all he'd always hated the living room furniture. Unwrapping a bandage, he soaked it with transparent liqiud and proceeded to cleanse the wound. Had the boy not been unconscious, he would be writhing in agony, from the sting of the medicine.

The wound was ready for stitching a few minutes later. Y'miel had plucked out the old stitches from his skin and had removed the infected skin around the gash. After rummaing around the kitchen, he located the sharpest needle and returned to Charlie, setting it to work. He sewed quickly, but carefully and was done in a good five minutes. After two layers of bandages, he'd covered the wound completely and examined his work. Nodding his head, he set aside his tools and left Charlie to rest.

Sighing a bit, the girl shrugged, tousling Mason'a hair before Nyx gave her a hug
" I'll be back later with the needs" the muttered into the melanic's ear, her eyes dull as she did so. Turning and leading the boy to the door, the albino hesitated for a moment before heading outside to the underground facility "Well then let's get you home" she said with a sigh, using what strength she had to lift the boy into her arms, starting back towards the house. The walk was a bit shorter than before. She set him down one they were on his street. Wrapping her hand around his, Pixle walked at an even and somewhat brisk pace back to the house

Wiping his tears away in quick swish, Mason looked up to Pixle, smiling a bit as he did so. It was of his knowledge that the girl wouldn't be jumping with joy to have been cut off like that, but he had been wary of that place. Having been attacked by REPOs more often that he favoured, Mason found himself disliking dark and closed up spaces where the soldiers could possible hide. And one more reason of his desire to depart - Dannix. Despite his visible harmless attitude and quite gentle nature, even despite him being Pixle's brother, Mason couldn't find himself to have trust in him. His dark complexion made for one suspicious being.

Mason squeezed Pixle's hand.
"I'm sorry. I just miss Izzie and Yumi like you must miss Nyx. They're family. I didn't mean to upset you..." he mumbled apologetically.

Stepping onto the lawn of the boy's house, she hesitated for a moent or two, glancing over her shoulder before starting to the door "Is your sister going to kill me for "kidnapping" you?"

Mason giggled at the last sentence. It was true that Aizel was a angry person by nature, but he was sure she was going to be too busy crushing him in a bear hug to notice Pixle. And if there was anyone who is sister was going to yell at, it was definitelly going to be MAson himself
He shook his head.
"She might seem agressive and she is agressive, but she won't hurt you. I won't let her, anyways." he reassured.

Pixle let out a bit of a laugh at the boy's comment. The door opened with a click, and the house was notably silent at first "mh..." glancing around, she let go of the boy's hand and zipped up her jacket, adjusting her scarf some "Anyone here!?"

Mason poked is head into the foyer, looking around. It seemed silent, but there was definitelly someone in the house. The lights were flicked on, the pair of revolvers still remained on the shoe cabinet, which meant that Aizel was nearby.
"Come on." he motioned for Pixle to follow and crossed the room in a quick pace, setting out towards the kitchen.

Nodding again, the girl followed after him, the mechanisms that kept her body in working order had begun to whine and creak, letting out a click or pop here and there. She prayed silently for silence that never came to shut off the metalic clicks of the mechanisms. Lowering her head a bit, the albino followed close to the small boy, her scarlet eyes scanning the area as though she were being watched.

As soon as Mason set foot in the kitchen, a darl fogure blocked his way. Pitless black eyes glared at him angrily.
"Where have you been?" it was undoubtedly Aizel's voice, but ten times deeper and a million times angrier. Her tone was quiet but threatening.

Mason froze in his tracks.
"Nowhere. I was taking a walk." he quickly regained his composure and answered as believable as possible.

Aizel's gaze moved to Pixle.
"Let's say I believed you." she said to Mason. "Where did you take a walk?"

The boy went silent. He didn't have much of a reasonable explanation to that question and looked at the albino for help.

"Just around, I was getting him out of the chaos so I dook him across town to my old hold up and then brought him back, no big deal...." she muttered, crossing her arms but not without a protesting whine from her mechanics. "What do you care? 'ts not like you were even aware of his existance, I'm sure half of the time you have him fending for himself!"

A growl escaped Aizel's throat and she stomped over to the girl.
"Listen here, 'Miss'. Mason has not left this neightbourhood more than three times and each time I was with him. He is NOT allowed to go any further than the dumping grounds! Understand? I am trying to protect him from those freaks who roam these lands! And what do you do? You put him in danger!!! I doubt you could take a group of REPO all by yourself, judging by the way yu were beaten by one earlier today." she hissed lowly, referring to the girl's near death experience in the streets. "So you're not the one to talk."

Stomping away, she grasped Mason's hand and tugged him towards the living room. As soon as they were out of the albino's view, she crouched down to face her brother. "Don't EVER do this again!" he scolded, cupping Mason's face. "You know it's not safe there! I know that you trust her, but you have to be reasonable!"

Mason looked down, being silent in shame.
"You're a smart boy. I know that, but that doesnt mean I won't be worried, okay?"
