Moonkit walked around in the forest, frightened at ever tiny noise. She was 2 moons old, and has run away from her home. She was starving, cold tired and scared. She came to a clearing with four trees. She thought it was the place her mother had told her about long ago, a place called four trees. She picked a random tree and followed it. This was the way to the Sunningrocks, where she layed down and fell asleep.

Moonkit woke up to the sound of birds chirping. She yawned and thought about how good some vole would taste right now. She saw a vole ina tree, she licked her lips and pounced at it. She caught it! Moonkit sat down to enjoy the first meal she had had in 3 days. She trotted farther into the woody territory untill she got to some big rocks, and somewhat of a cave too. "Wow!" She heard hissing from behind her. "Adders!" She screamed and ran into some brush.

Wingtail heard something from the underbrush. "Hello..?" She meowed nervously. She started to pad slowly torwards the moving undergrowth. 'Is it a Twoleg? Maybe a badger?' Many thoughts filled her brain.

Moonshine walked out of her den at dawn and strechted. I need some marigold she thought. A good patch is near the Snake rocks. She headed out early to return for more sleep before the others awoke. She sniffed the marigold bush when she heard a rustle in a bush next to her, after hearing someone say,"Adders!" Then Wingtail's vioce appeared, "Hello..? I slowly looked through the bush to stop a kit hiding nervously in it. "Well, hello little kit, why are you here?" Moonshine asked curiosly

"Yep, I was running low, then found this little guy/girl. Anyway, i need to collect." Moonshine turned around and continued to collect herbs.

Moonshine later returned to camp covered, tail tip to ear tips, in marigold. She set down her herbs and sat down next to Wingtail and started to groom her fur. "SO, hows the kit?" Moonshine said through gritted teeth pulling at a knot of fur and marigold.

Wingtail yawned. "I gave her to Crystalstar. She'll take care of it." The sun was almost coming up. "I should go to sleep again. I'm really tired." She padded back to her den and fell asleep.

SETTING
_______

Morning:The sky turns a bright pink, and prey is EVERYWHERE, including inside camp.

Noon: A storm comes. Strong winds, heavy rain, and hail. The camp gets flooded and the elders den collapses. Nobody is dead, but Wingtail gets injured.

Night: Half moon, cold weather, a light rain.

"Hello, Silverkit. We found a stray kittypet kit, hiding in some underbrush. She's with Crystalstar now." She meowed at Silverkit. A pack of 12 mice scurried across Wingtails and Silverkit's paws. "What in the world..?"

Moonshine flew into the air and pounced on two. She continued that until only two were left, in which they scurried away."I should know how to catch prey, my mentor said, 'For if you are stranded in unknown territory yoou must find your clan alive or you might need to hunt for them if numbers are limited' then went on to her old stories..." Moonshine said cheerfully at her mice.

Lightningpaw laughed. "So am I!" He grabbed one in his teeth.

Stormroar looked at Wingtail. "Well, there was no need to hunt earlier."

Wingtail looked at Moonshine. "You've got a good mentor!" she meowed happily. She glanced back at Stormroar and smiled. "True, true." Wingtail spotted 2 rabbits and killed them with a bite. "There's prey EVERYWHERE today! Catch as many as you can, so we can store up!" She yowled to the clan.
