I went to CVS a few weeks ago, and I bought a little baby cactus. 8D

It's gotten a little bigger since I got it, but it's still pretty small. It looks like mini christmas trees! The leaves are pointy and curved and they have white ridges around them that looks like snow on a pine tree in the winter.

Anyways, HERE IT IS: http://i49.tinypic.com/2nbdsfr.jpg

I'm trying to identify it so I know how much water it needs, and so on... I got a different cactus but I didn't water it and the leaves are falling off. D: But the one I posted about is my favorite. If you run your finger up and down the ridges, it feels really cool. 😸

I saw a few pictures on Google of bigger versions of my cactus, but when I went to a bunch of websites they had every type of cactus except for mine. D8 So does anyone know what mine is?

@Lightnigember Yeah, I looked up "cactus that looks like a christmas tree" and I found a few pics, but no info. DX When I went to the websites the pictures were linked to, they were just photography sites. X3

Thanks for posting though. ^^ My topic was dying. X'D

@dreamer I don't know what it's called, but one time I tried buying a cactus at some gardening place, and it turned out the flowers were hot glued on! ☚ī¸ If you find a picture that looks exactally like yours, it could be that.

well a true Christmas tree cactus looks like:

It could be an aloe plant which I've seen next to cactus plants in stores. Just cut off a tiny part of the leaves and see if it's sorta gooey inside...If it is It's an aloe.

I'll keep searching. 😉
