I agree totally. I don't know what an abusive situation is like but I had a friend who was in the same situation. They wouldn't tell anybody though. It got bad and finally after a lot of encouragement they told someone. They are fine now but wouldn't be if they hadn't told anyone. So if the situation is like that then someone needs to know.
