Introduction
Never in recorded history has the Hero of Time, the boy chosen by the goddesses, been defeated by the forces of evil. Therefore, many claim that the Ordonian boy Link was not the Hero of Time. Many others disagree.

He had done things no other could accomplish, they argued. He had restored the light spirits and liberated the three provinces from Twilight. He had traveled to the long-abandoned desert and recovered the shards of the broken Mirror of Twilight. He had reestablished the link between the world of light and the world of dark.

It was in the Twilight Realm that he failed. Zant, a mere puppet to the true evil that governed Hyrule, struck him down and pierced his heart with a sword. He was buried in Ordon. As those who saw his body found the golden triangle upon his left hand, they mourned.

Ganondorf's power went unquestioned, and he crowned himself king of Hyrule. The presence of the goddesses was gone, so he allowed the three provinces (Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru) to remain free of Twilight.

Despite the wholeness of their bodies, the people of Hyrule were deeply unhappy. The new king abused his power, living lavishly while the rest of the population sunk into poverty. Packs of bulblins and other nasty creatures ravaged the countryside, occasionally becoming so bold as to attack the villages. Food was becoming scarce. Worst of all these, however, was that the people had lost hope.

Introduction, cont.
The Realm of Twilight was equally mistreated. With Zant established as its indefinite leader, the Twili were neglected. Many were cast from their homes, forced to roam select sections of Twilight within Hyrule. Revolution rose among the people, and a group called the Resistance formed. These particularly powerful Twili are determined to overthrow their usurper, even if it requires venturing out into the world of light. For that, however, they'll need the help of a light-dweller.

What the people in their sorrow did not understand was that the goddesses had not been idle. Upon Link's death, they had divided the source of his power by its three elements: power, wisdom, and courage. Each of these was reincarnated separately. Not a minute after Link's death, three children were conceived, each of them an expression of a different trait. Now, seventeen years later, their power has begun to awaken.

Setting
The roleplay begins in the Central Square of Castle Town. It has roads to the four streets surrounding it, as well as a cafe, a door to the Observation Deck, and a band playing music. A large fountain sits in the middle of the square.

The afternoon weather is dismal and heavy, with dark grey clouds hanging low overhead. In the distance, a bruise-colored patch of clouds is visible, signifying an area of twilight. Due to the weather and the low morale of the people, business is slow. Each of the vendors is ready to pack up and go home should it rain.

A Note on Characters
The cast for this roleplay should look like this:

Hero of Time x3 (Power, Wisdom, Courage)
Rebelling Twili
Citizens of Hyrule who wish to overthrow the king

At least one hero needs to be male. I will be playing one of these three, just to keep the roleplay on track, but I'm not claiming any particular trait. I'll take whatever is left. Upon entering a section of twilight-covered land, they take on the shape of an animal. Traditional animals are wolf for courage, owl for wisdom, and boar for power. These are up for negotiation, but please pick animals for their adherence to the chosen trait.

A Note on Characters, cont.
Twili cannot walk in the light, so they'll have to hide in the shadows of a light dweller to get around. In twilight, however, they are extremely useful. Doubling as a light-dweller is encouraged.

The prominent light-dwelling races of Hyrule include Hylians, Zoras, and Gorons. Hylians are essentially humans. They are concentrated in Ordon Village, Kakariko Village, and Castle Town. Zoras come from Lanayru Province. They live mostly in Lake Hylia, and do most of their travel by way of the Zora River. Gorons are from the Eldin Province, and their city is built inside and around Death Mountain. The people of these races (for the most part) all are upset at the rule of Ganondorf. Members of any of them are capable of joining a group to overthrow him. They cannot enter twilight without losing their physical form. Doubling as a Twili is encouraged.

Please ask special permission to use any race not listed above, including but not limited to: Yeti, Gerudo, Skullkid, and Fairy.

Appearance: She has a strong but nimble build and is about 6 feet. Her skin is tan and she has stunning forest green eyes. Her hair is jet black with red streaks and she always wears a crimson red robe with a black cloak over it. Around her neck is a necklace of a wolf curled around an emerald.
Personality: She is know for her courage and for being very gutsy. She has a clever mind but will sometimes ignore common sense and like to rush into things. She is a nice person all together but can be very rude if she is in a bad mood. She is often sarcastic with people and can be very funny.
Animal form: A black wolf with a few red streaks throughout her fur.
Primary Weapon: (longsword is traditional for courage, bow is traditional for wisdom, broadsword is traditional for power) Longsword though she has always wanted to try to use a bow.

Appearance: Slightly petite but athletic with a hint of muscle. Has tanned skin and piercing inky black eyes that contrast to her red lips. Shoulder lenght coal black hair that is cut into a straight line and triangular bangs of the same colour. A long thin scar travels down her left shoulder - the only memory she has of her mother.
Personality: Rude and unmannered, results of her past, she can becaome agressive at the slightest provokation. Infamous of her short temper and tendency to pick fights, she is also often stubborn as a donkey when it comes to her opinion. Despite her rough self, she is ready to fight with claws and teeth for the ones dear to her. Never refuses a challenge, her disire is to prove herself best.
Animal form: A farly large black jaguar
Primary Weapon: Boadsword and numerous small daggers that she rarely uses.
History: Born in a poor family of a famer. Due to her father's absence and mother's lack of care she spent most of her time on the streets as a pickpocket and thief.

I said above that I was going to play one so that I could keep the roleplay moving, and the other two slots were filled by people who just happened to post their forms earlier than you did. You can resubmit as a different role if you like.

@jupiter_hollow Well, after much deliberation, I've changed my mind. I'll give you the final hero spot and just join the band of adventurers as a normal Hylian.

Alex was sound asleep in her room. She had been with her friends all of the night before and was pooped. She soon woke up and got dressed in her usual robe of red and her black cloak. She then walked outside to where Tashu was and sat down next to the large Arabian. (It is a little short but I have to go in a sec.)
