Movie Reviews, anyone?

So I have begun watching movies, and then critiquing them for my school newspaper. Would you like to see one? I can post it if so, otherwise, if no one posts, no one gets to see... Anyone?

Grades: 6-8
The Avengers: Good, bad, better than most.
This movie is not for everyone. Not everyone appreciates the AWESOMENESS of the Avengers. Most think it is too violent, too explicit, or they just ?don?t like? superheroes. I think they should open their eyes and look at the big picture. They really should watch something before making the judgment, and be open to people who like the film.
The plot of the movie is that there is a super villain (Loke) at large and Director Fury must assemble a group of superheroes in order to protect Shield, a secret corporation that creates and dispatches high-tech weapons to protect the human race. The list consists of Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, the Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Thor. They spend most of the film strategizing and there are about three violent or gory scenes, it is a bit over two hours long.
My opinion of the technical aspects of the film is that there were pretty good graphics, and I think the coloration was fairly well done, but even though I?m no expert at technical effects, I think it could have been better.

CASTING!!! Most decisions were good, but everyone in the Shield company office was a model, so that sorta irked me (Ms. Terri has taught me to see that... Not sure how I feel about it, but hey! Education!) but most of the casting decisions they made were very good! The only one I was unsure about was who they cast for Iron Man. He seemed like he didn?t play the part very well, and didn?t fully understand Iron Man?s personality.
All in all I would give it four out of five stars. It was pretty mind blowing I gotta tell you. Everyone LOVES the Black Widow. She is a strong female character and she ROCKS!!! If your parents are okay with you seeing it, I would recommend it!

So, this is the first one, and I will post more in a week, maybe two.

The Secret World Of Arietty~

This movie was very intimadating in the comercials, but sadly it was a very boring film. I mean studio Gibli could do better. Casting Brigget Medler and David Delaruso was a HUGE mistake. They are both the WORST actors i have ever saw in an animated movie. The ending was just LAME there was no exitement. It turned out to be the worst Studio Gibli movie ever (So said by the cridics) and i think Studio Gibli really could do better. Like Spirited Away for example. THAT was there best moive. It got 4 stars. The rest got 3 and under. I would recomend not seeing this movie.
