@raitonchidori
I agree. You need to put a load of EC in there to get a substantial amount. Increasing the rate would be a great advantage. Not to much of course but for a million EC you would expect more 192- at least 500 I would think.

@nousernamesleft
Of course, I'm not saying about a great amount, but 192 EC isn't anything...

@raitonchidori
I like this suggestion too. Maybe like it could be around 10 - 15 % interest rate?

@raitonchidori Interest is a real life thing, and you don't even get 7% now (in England anyway) - it's 0.5%. And you collect it monthly/annually (depending what bank you're with and what type of bank account you have). The more frequently you get interest, the less you get, so it's all fair.

Say you have 500,000 EC. The YEARLY interest in the Strongroom is 7%. So each day, you collect 96 EC. So each year you collect 35,040 EC (if you collect interest each day). Interest isn't something you should rely on for money.

@raitonchidori The highest I think in England is 15%, and 500 EC of 1,000,000 is 20%, so I think the highest I'd want there to be (out of 1 million) is 250 EC.

Some people don't even get a chance to collect interest (I always forget, I'm most focused on responding to alerts e_e") so it's not that big of a deal.

That's true @karamel, however in real life money isn't as 'easy' to get as EC, if you know what I mean. If you can deposit a ton of money and only collect EC equivalent to feeding two creatures, then you might as well just feed two creatures. Just seems a little pointless.
