Spirea Creature Idea

Hey!

I have an idea for an egg, and I made a pic: http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff468/sciteccf/mes.png

This egg has a thin, acidic membrane covering it that burns your fingers if you touch it. It also seem to be... hypnotizing...

I didn't draw the actual creature since I'm not much of an artist. Maybe you guys can think of something?
