Hello all i am new. Egg cave looks like fun trying to collect different creatures and things. But i am a bit confused as what to do now? Do i just feed peoples pets and hope they feed mine as well?

The point is to raise your eggs to adult or whatever you want. Well, actually the point is to have fun. If you feed someone, they will generally feed back, unless they say that they won't. It's also less likely they will if you have too many creatures, so try not to hard a bunch of commons.
While you raise your eggs, have fun at the forums! Join a thread or roleplay, or talk in a suggestion.
A final piece of advice is to book your creatures in Tim's Food Shop if they seem low on happiness for a couple days, or if you leave for a while.
