Three more months...

I've mentioned to a few users that once my account ages to a year old which is three months from now, I'll be making my final decision on whether I'll be quitting.

Please do not try stopping me, I really don't need your sympathy.

My reasons for possibly quitting is the fact that over the past few months I've been ignored, and it's becoming more recent around here, so I don't see what's the point of me coming on here and practically being ignored by mostly everyone.

A few months ago I went on an un-announced hiatus for about two months, not that really anyone had noticed. Admit it, you didn't either.

When I came back it seemed that over those two months everyone had changed drastically, they became complete strangers to me.

And what else do I find? The Egg Cave community has changed, all I've been hearing lately is scams, and lies.
How am I supposed to trust anyone on here?

Lately I've just been really upset over these changes, so my chances on quitting in the next few months are 97%

I've been noticing reputations at this point and I've began to wonder where I stand at this point? But it's not like I should bother with it now, popularity isn't one of my concerns.

My only concern is why I'm being treated this way.

Well, Im new. I had this account long ago.
Then decided to come back.
I know not much about Egg Cave.

However, No matter whats your decision is, Its really up to you.

Perhaps, People dont realize much everything on here.
Almost everyone with their own things x.x

Yeah I think we should find a way to have more of a community feeling rather than just another member, ya know? :/ But, everything is always improving; just one step at a time I guess.

Honestly, I find little has changed. It might be just my definition of change, but that's how I feel about Egg Cave. It's still has its ups and downs, scammers and bad apples, good memories from time to time all the same :]
We still complain, praise, reminisce, chat, trade, bargain, waste our time away... xD

Most of the scams & lies can be traced back to a handful of the same users each time. I perosonally don't hear of it much despite being on almost each day though.

And heck, why should you care about reputation? What does it matter if you are well known or not? Afterall, that isn't what Egg Cave is supposed to be for...
If you spot people holding it high above their heads, they've got it all wrong. D:

{And a hiatus on Egg Cave is probably usually associated with school/trip out of state. Just saying. o3o
Don't worry, we all seem to be forgotten when we take a break unless you make a big fuss. No one noticed me taking a few hiatuses... }

@sky - I know how it feels to be like that. In some ways, I am also being ignored. >.> It hurts in away... but I don't mind.
And yeah, people changed as time passes by. I felt a bit bored now here and it's not as fun as it used to be when I first joined here, seriously. Don't ask me why 'coz I just felt it. No offense here. I also noticed that some barely goes in the forums and some are lazy to get on.

Since I also left the site for a couple of weeks or maybe a month? No one seems to remember you exist or maybe a few? People also won't care if you will be away if you rarely talk to them.

That is why maybe you are ignored? (I just figured that one on my own though.) But anyways, it can be fun here depends on the person which happens to be you, right? You hold your life to fun. There is still time. As you said no one can stop you if you quit... so, I'll be of no help with that then. 😊 Still, I'm hoping that you won't.

Ohhsies. I said too much didn't I? Sorry.

@sky I hope you don't quit and I'm sorry to hear you can't really trust anyone on here anymore. In a way I know what you mean, in my opinion too many people are scamming others into giving them CC with out the others knowledge. Once again I hope you stay around.
