A little help with a cockatiel?

we have 4 birds.2 budgies and 2 cockatiels.my cockatiels name is Iki Tiki. i have never seen Iki Tiki eat food and i'm worried!what should i do?we got him 2 days ago and he can't get sick that fast.He don't jumps like his friend and he can't fly very good so he crashes in to the wall and that's why i might clip his wings.

what should i do?

should i clip his wings or not?

I think you should clip his wings because he might badly injure himself of you don't. It would be better because them he can't crash since he won't be able fly. I have a cockatiel and he doesn't have clipped wings. He will occasionally escape and almost hurt himself because he crashes when he tries to fly.

Probly, i had a Mexican (or something like that) Cockatiel his name was Pheonix and he only ate at night and all he did was sit in the mirror going ' Pretty Bird' but he liked to fly and hit the wall XD We ended up cliping his wings and after that outr two cats always tryed to eat him XD

Well clipping his wings would prevent him from flying all together until the feathers grew back, it's like a haircut, Did he have a certain diet before you got him? sometimes switching food brands can cause behabior to change. Also, some birds don't eat as much as others, try hand feeding him or holding some seed in the palm of your hand while he sits on your finger or the side of your hand, that's how I got mine to eat.

i don't remember that they said that he was on a diet.every time i try to give him some food from my hand he just jumped to my other hand!xD

@sanibel_18 well diet like was he eating seed, pellet and fruit and then when you bought him he only got seed. I wouldn't worry too much right now, he could be eating while no one is around, is he in the same cage as the other?

With the not eating, wait a bit, like you said, he hasn't been with you long enough to get sick, and not long enough to be used to the place. He just needs to adapt.

Also on his food thing, do you always try to give him the same food? Some birds are strange and like a different type of food then the rest, they are kinda like people.

and do you know what my sisters 'tiel Bibi did when we was eating dinner?he flew to the table and tasted our bread!that happened yesterday but today i was drinking some soda, and the soda looked like water.Bibi jumped to the table again so i gave him some bread.But he didn't eat it.Then suddenly my dad called.Then i putted my glass with the soda on the table and started talking.Then Bibi started walking to my glass and he drank some!he liked it so he kept drinking it!xD

Iki Tiki becomes crazy when he sees himself in the mirror.His partner flew away in his first family.So if he sees himself in the mirror he think it's his old partner.x3
poor guy, he's really alone and sick.And he has loosed some feathers on his head.☹️

Awwwww poor him. My bird just starts whistling at himself as if it is a female and Iki Tiki might be molting.
