Naive?

I dunno. I just feel extremely naive and childish compared to most of the people I know. While they can pass for 13 or 14 year olds, I can probably go back to Year 5 and nobody could suspect me - that's only appearance-wise. Personality wise, I'm still a little kid - I like to be cute and adored. Lots of my friends insist on doing stuff for me (carrying bags, 'picking me up' from class, etc.) 'cause I'm such a 'kid'. They have their futures planned out, university and stuff, while I'm left alone with no clue what's going on. All I want to do is just snuggle up with my IPad or DSi and play Pokemon or something.

Is this normal for a 12 year old? I don't understand much of the world, and probably 10 year olds know more about the 'world', as they put it, than me. Well, some people were saying "Can you feel the love tonight?" and randomly started laughing. I didn't get it D:

To boot, I even LOOK younger. I'm shorter, my face is devoid of pimples (just a few blackheads here and there) and... Well, if you saw me, you'd say "...Is that Celeste? I pictured her a bit more... mature..." I'm scared when others talk about.. stuff which should not be mentioned... and I just don't want to hear it. It isn't like a fear of that or anything... but BLARGH.

I just don't know.

@celeste Don't worry I think that sounds completely normal 😊 everybody matures at their own rate so you're just fine, and personally I think some people try to mature too fast 😊 You'll become mature way faster than you think, so savour your childhood while it lasts😃

you don't have to worry about what other people would think about you, because no matter what they say, you're still going to be..you 😊

insecurities won't help you either, instead, why don't you look at the brighter parts of life ? ENJOY it, because when the time comes that you'll have to enter college you won't be able to enjoy life as much as you can now 😊
(tho this part is just my opinion ^^)

and you're 12 years old, you don't have to learn EVERYTHING about world, because as days pass by, you keep on learning, tho you wouldn't notice it at first, but as you grow older, you'd definitely understand much more about the world and your life 😊

and I'm just like you too, I'm a bit small in height and sometimes my classmates do the "carrying of bag" part for me 😊 so don't worry, be confident and stay positive
