Egg Description: This egg has a ruby on it, and glows mysteriously in the dark.

Creature Description:
The Laets is a greedy creature, always on the lookout for new shiny additions to its hoard. The newly hatched Laets carries around its ruby ring in its mouth, never letting anyone touch it. The more mature, older Laets wears the ruby on a necklace around its neck. It also begins to develop this species' unique ability -- identifying counterfeit objects. The bird's keen sight and intelligence allows it to distinguish between a counterfeit painting and a real piece of artwork; tell between a fake jewel and a true one. This special talent of the Laets places it in high demand among libraries, banks, and shops.

I love the idea of a blue jay looking creature. I beleive eggcave should have more creatures that look more natural like that. Nice drawing!
