So I'm a type 1 diabetic. I user the basal bolus therapy to treat my diabetes. That means I take at least 4 shots of insulin a day.

So I just ate breakfast, and I had just given my shot. I took the needle off my insulin pen. And I dropped it o_o Then the needle came out of the protective case used to take it off the pen. I was about to stand up to find it. I STEPPED ON IT AND IT WENT IN MY TOE D8
Now I've got a bruise on my toe :'(

@whispers - Awwe. I felt like I am diabetic myself.. *crosses fingers* *hopes not*

EDIT: Maybe diabetes runs down from the family blood and passed on to you. There is no cure with that. *pouts*

@whispers - You should probably tell someone about it and visit the doctor just to make sure! That must've hurt. ☹️ Hope you're okay! ❤️ *super tight huggles*

@vanilla
But it's my own needle o.O Nobody else's germs are on it...and we had just cleaned our floor.
I've done this many times before by accident. Never gotten hurt. I'm the only person with needles in my family ^^; If it was somebody else's needle...then I'd be really worried 😋

@whispers

Not that.

A bit of it might've gotten into your bloodstream and travel to your heart.

And then there's death.
