Are you new to role-playing or slightly older role-player who need some tips? You've come to the right place! Here you can ask for tips or ask for your character/RP idea/RP post to be rated. Anyways, for newbie RPers, we'll start on how to make a character.

HOW TO MAKE A CHARACTER

1. Start off with a raw idea. A name, a color of hair, a personality trait, etc.
2. Begin to build from that raw idea. Add interesting traits, appearances, small habits, etc. Make sure to not make it a Mary Sue/Gary Stue
3. Once you are done with that, make sure to do a character check. Make sure that your character is unique.
4. Do a check with a friend who is an experienced RPer. It may seem pointless, but you don't want an undeveloped character!
5. Add your finalizing touches. A small habit, a pet, an interesting history, etc.
6. Enjoy!
