Avatar: The last airbender LITERATE ROLEPLAY

You are part of an Earth Bending village. Life has been relatively peaceful until a firebending colony was settled nearby. Now you will regularly see firebending guards patrol the village. Earth Bending is forbidden.

There have been some rumours that the Avatar (Aang) has returned but it is just a rumour. Hardly anyone believes this.
Another rumour is that airbenders aren't as extinct as they are claimed to be. There have been sightings of airbenders around the village. But again, they may simply be rumours.

There has been talk of some earthbenders preparing to rebel against the firebenders. Some waterbenders live nearby and are more than willing to help.

You can either be an airbender, earthbender, firebender or waterbender.

If tou are a firebender, you are allowed to betray your colony as join the earth benders side. But given them a reason to do so.

~Rules~

-No Godmodding
-No controlling other users characters
-No killing other characters
-Maximum of 3 characters per person, but only one for each bending element
-More than 3 sentences per post
-Post in past tense, 3rd person

-Be literate, please check your grammar, punctuation and spelling before you post

-Don't power play. Be realistic. Your 12 year old kid can't be able to be a master waterbender and heal their broken bones. "Because she had good training", doesn't cut it.

-I reserve the right to ask you to leave this board if you do not follow these rules.

Deff's! I love those kind of Rp's I'm also glad the Avatar isnt the Main charrie. Because it wouldnt be a very good RP like that, but if its just about Village life and stuff then im totaly in!

Age: 13
Personality: Shy and sweet. She isn't very tuff but for what she lacks in power she makes up for in speed. She is a very kind-hearted kid but is brave and always looks at the glass as half full.
Appearance: Brown hair green eyes pale skin and is about 4'11 and always dresses like a firebender and hangs out near the firebending village.
Bending element: Earth (And is a good Chi blocker if I do say so myself!)
Other: Her mother was killed by Firebenders and her father is a water bender and she lives with him now.

Personality: Strong, brave, determined, and strong willed. She is cheery most of the time. Tari is an ok water bender, but certainly not the best. She also has a habbit of freezing things, and is obsessed with green onions, and has a green onion necklace.
Appearance: Tari has two short pigtails, and light skin . Her eyes are green, unlike most water benders which are blue, and have tan skin. She usually wears a short blue kimono like dress, with short sleeves, with a long sleeved thick coat with a hood over it.
Bending element: Water
Other: Tari is actually from the earth nation.

Kauto laid back in his chair as he waited for a potential customer to come and buy his products. He sighed as he watched his fellow villagers hurry along the road without sparing a glance at his market.

He wished he could earth bend. But ever since the fire benders came, it was forbidden.

Tari trotted to the river with her bucket for water. She sat is down by the stream and started to water bend the stream water into the bucket, then froze it, forgetting that you can't drink ice. She heard about 10 pairs of footsteps coming her war, and dove into the water without thinking, leaving the bucket of water outside.

By now, Kauto was incredibly bored out of his mind. Sighing, he closed his shop for the day and went for a walk around a nearby river. Watching the slow moving water currents always relaxed his mind.

Down along the river, Kauto caught sight of a group of firebending guards marching their way down. At the same time, he heard the tell tale splash of water.

'What on earth is going on?' He thought to himself.

Tari didn't know how to bend the water into a air bubble around her, so she held her breath underwater. She watched at a troop of new fire benders (Hope this isn't controlling of characters. xD) walking to secure the earth bending nation. Tari tries to water bend some water at the fire nation troop, but just before the water is about to hit a soldier, she accidentally freezes it, and it thuds to the ground. Now the attention is directed to Tari.

Kauto caught sight of a young water bender trying to attack the firebenders. Before the guards could react, Kauto dashed towards the girl and snatched her out of the water.

"Are you crazy?" He said to her. "You can get caught!"

A ball of fire landed next to him before Kauto could say anything else and he sprinted down the river out of the way, hoping the girl would follow.

Oakes wakes up from a long rest. She gets up, puts her boots on, and goes outside to look for something to eat. While walking she comes across a group of firebender guards.

'what the?' she asks herself.

Personality: Stubborn and impatient, despite her name, which is patient in Chinese. She is also excited and often makes rash decisions.
Appearance: Blonde hair, that she died a burning red with black highlights. Her jaw is squarish and she grinds her teeth when stressed. Her icey blue eyes don't fit her appearance, but they are one of her most striking features. She has tan skin from exposure to heat and she wears the traditional fire nation reds, golds, yellows and browns. She wears sandals, a light red tank top that shows her stomach over a yellow shirt with sleves and baggy brown pants.
Bending element: Fire
Other: She is still mastering her skill, but she has great potential.

When Oakes was wondering what was happening she saw a boy running and a girl trying to follow. She started running towards the boy without thinking, hoping to catch up but she was to slow. She was almost next to him when she heard screaming.

Rennai walked through the Earthbending village with her friends. They were chatting and laughing, but she was silent. She looked around at the people cowering from them. Rennai frowned when she saw a young girl start crying at the sight of her. She quickly shook the feeling, reminding herself that this was nessacary for the safety of her people.
One her friends screamed as earth rose up around their bodies, trapping them. Her friends couldn't firebend, but she could.
"Release us!" She yelled, her voice cracking. "I can and will firebend you if you don't!" The ground shifted slowly, allowing them a small sliver of space. Her friends sprinted off, but Rennai stayed. A small flame ignited in her hand. Her sympathy was gone. The ground infront of her caught fire and Rennai ran off after her friends.

Instead of going back Oakes followed the boy and found herself in a village. She didnt know which village becuase shes been in the woods since she was 10.

"hey! whats going on!" she asked the boy.
