How should I EV train my Bulbasaur? And what should my team be?

@cat

I would replace the Poliwrath for a dual-typed Lapras, as it is ice/water, and I personally prefer it than fighting/water. Alakazam is an excellent choice, Aerodactyl too but be careful as it's defences aren't that solid. Arcanine...hmm, it's good, but I find it rather limited in terms of moves, but it's a good fire-type though. Raichu is the one I'm not certain about. I've had a level 75 Raichu in my Pearl, and I can tell you that it's defences are bad, it dies quickly, but if you can keep it alive, Thunderbolt rocks. Since you're playing Red, you don't have an Ampharos, but should you play Gold/Silver, I'dd replace Raichu for Ampharos. Venusaur is a standard grass-type, and it's an okay pokemon above all. Hope this helps.

No prob. As for the Poliwrath or Lapras thing, I know that fighting beats ice, but trust me. Ice types are VITAL to this game.

@cat chibi darkness is right. I can't remember very well, because I haven't played it in a long time, but I think the toughest of the elite 4 was a dragon type 😋
