Then the Elge is re-released? -_-;

Was it ever specified when it was released it would only ever be one time thing? Or did people just assume?

It could be the type of creature that is released annually.

Besides, I was able to get one a month ago, before I gave it to a friend for 250k. That's not much at all.

I really think this is rude. I respect that you have an opinion to state. But Ian puts a lot of work into this site.

I get that you can't make everyone happy but after all the work he puts in, I think it just seems rude. Especially if he came on, saw this, after all he's done.

And I'm rambling. Sorry.

And I won't be posting any more in here, I just wanted to state my opinion.

But it was given out last year so why couldnt it be given out last year.

This is kind of harsh. :\ The elge could be given out annually, just like the ghosty. 😉

I'm sure Ian thought about this as well, after he got tons of hate mail after he re-released the Christmas creatures.

"The major re-release issues were caused by a combination of Christmas + Cash Shop stuff... and a time span gap of 2 years ('09 vs '11). And yes, i am not planning on doing that again. but since the 4th is a minor holiday and it's only been 1 year, this won't upset the balance in a major way like the Christmas re-releases did."

Im sure there was a more polite way to put this :/
Maybe he forgot that he said that, its only the 2nd time its being released, and I wasnt here last year and i think its great that I have a chance to get it.
He made this site, and he's done so much to keep it up and try to adjust the site and give us new creatures and new additions to make us happy, and I think we need to be a little more grateful for it instead of getting mad when he re-releases an elge for 4 days.

Actually, this isn't the second time creatures were re-released, they also re-released kinumps, and I think some others. 😉

It may be like the ghostay..it was an annual halloween creature so maybe the egle is an annual 4th of July creature.

But I agree...Ian said no more re-releases but I can't say I remember the egle being retired

Honestly I don't see why people complain so much about re-releases anyway. People SHOULD be happy when some old creatures are back. I know sometimes people dislike it because they traded a lot for them. But seriously people, I myself had traded a lot for my 5 2009 foos but I got super happy when they got re-released. Why? Because I wasn't thinking about rarity numbers or values, I was thinking of how much I love some EC creatures! And of course I was thinking of the christmas spirit and of Ian's good intention when he re-released the 2009 christmas creatures😊

Although we encourage users to voice their opinions on Egg Cave, there is no need for impoliteness, towards Ian or anyone else.
Ian has acknowledged his choice to re-release the Elge as a way of saving July's festivities for Egg Cave's birthday, which is something we can all be excited about rather than dwell upon this issue.
