Eek. Bad idea.

Weeworld does this and there are a TON of scams. I vote no. It really just brings down the site's reputation.

I mean I am all for easier ways to get CC seeing as it is like the ONLY way to get pets on here but this is only good in theory.

I don't think this is a good idea. Many people who buy CC may stop to save up. And Ian may run out of money to keep the site up. He has to pay for us to have this place ^^;

I agree with @balletninja - such a move attracts advertisers of dubious reputation.

A way to compromise will be to do like Neopets did: have some kind of random CC giveaway (like the Expellibox game) with a low chance of winning, or give away a small amount of CC to each user (eg 100CC) during special events.

I like the idea of other ways to earn CC, like perhaps a random event where each user gets 100CC? Or something of the sort.

But not particularly this because I feel users may make extra accounts. Even if Ian did it by IP that wouldn't be fair to siblings.
