I have a sunburn on my cheeks and nose
I look like I'm blushing


I went out to the lake today, and we stayed for 7 hours. Most of which I stayed in the water.

I'm sore all over


Waiting for meds to kick in so I can fall asleep. My body doesn't want to shut down, though I'm running on nothing basically.

How was any other US citizen's July forth?

@cafe Ow! sounds like a long day. I just did backyard fireworks (plus the 3 or 4 shows you could see from my house) and ice cream to beat the heat 😊

Sunburn sucks, well I dont really get sunburned but it looks painful.

My 4th was fun. I lit a bunch of smoke bombs during the day and then went to the store and bought a few fountains and more bombs~ Went out to dinner with my mom, sister, and aunt, and later saw (and photographed) the local fireworks show. Then finally... Returned home and set off some bottle rockets (one of which attacked my aunt) and the fountains I bought. 😊

I was too tired to stay and watch the fireworks, since the lake is an hour and half drive from our house. I got what I wanted, the lake itself XD

@cafe well since I live in the Netherlands we do fireworks today with loud music and partying all night they do it for two days its already started the dutch party hard, got two more years till I can go back to America though.

I lit a bunch of fireworks and had liqure! (Cortacy of my brother) It was brandy, YUCK but the buttershots didnt taste so bad.. XD

Yesterday I saw fireworks, but it was later on in the afternoon and went on until night, so I was safe.

For the last week of school we went to a field trip in Boston, and then we had a field trip the following Friday. I got completely burnt. Everywhere.

I have very fair skin... I'd disintegrate in the sun before getting a tan. V.V So I always get scolded. It's a real burden. I know how you feel.
