Just so you guys know, finding food and trying to survive is extremely hard for wolves, also there is a lot of fur hunting, so unless you're in a reserve or it's the right season, you may not survive. For the record, as much as I love wolves, I support wolf hunting. I think I'd be a bird or a fish, the sea and the sky are wonderful. ❤️

@elementalpaws Fed. And yeah wolves are really amazing.@chibidarkness All fed. And yes food is scarce for wolves but that isn't their fault. It's pretty much the human's fault. I love wolves too but I really don't see the point in wolf hunting... I mean sure some wolves do kill farmer's cattle but that's really not that often. They prefer to stay away from humans. Wolves live around 8 years in the wild but that isn't so bad compared to a fish. They would live up to 15 years if not for the wilderness conditions. And I personally think the way they live are one of the best for animals. They have packs- families. They have mates for life, and since they live in packs it makes things easier. But yeah sorry for the long reply haha. 😋 and yeah a bird would be cool too. To be able to fly. 😊

@lonewolfNo no, you got it wrong. Wolf hunting is essential actually. Wolves reproduce very quickly, if we don't control their population, they get more violent and would attack humans. Also, wolves don't really have a notion of family you know, they have a hierarchy, but they don't sympathize with another if the Alpha deems it too weak, be it his son or daughter or mate. Do research, don't love wolves just because they seem so holy and cute and stuff.

@chibidarknessIsn't all hunting essential? And yes that's why hunters should hunt wolves that live closer to humans and not the ones that aren't bothering anyone. "In many ways the social structure of a wolf pack is similar to that of humans. Wolves are naturally social (preferring to live in packs), but occassionally live alone or in pairs. They are prone to violence to wolves who live outside their pack, but able to show great affection within their pack and occasionally allow loners to join them." They show affection. They just keep the ranks in line just how parents are the boss of us. And of course they aren't going to be exactly like humans. Because they aren't humans. http://www.fws.gov/home/feature/2007/qandasgraywolfbiology.pdfAnd wolves give birth every spring. Only the alpha male and female are allowed to reproduce in a wolf pack. But yep I see where you're coming from and understand.

I would be a sea lion. They are awesome.
chibidarkness • 12 July 2012 at 5:18 PM
@lonewolfYou're right, hunting of every could be threats animals is essential. And you know, humans aren't evil, they don't hunt every freaking wolf there is, just those who may seem closer to be threats. Also, what you described is a HIERARCHY system. They like their packs, but violence among one pack is frequent, especially one a beta or omega challenges the Alpha for leadership. Once the Alpha loses, he leaves the pack, because that's their system. But thanks for understanding what I'm trying to say. 😊Fed your cove in return!
