The Slowly Declining Fun Factor of Eggcave

Well, Eggcave is EXTREMELY boring lately. And it seems that no one is trying to fix it (no offense to any of the Eggcave staff, I haven't noticed any changes so this is how I see it.)
To prove that we really need some sort of big change, I'm putting it out there that I spend my time on Eggcave looking at the Forum Livepulse, checking the Trade Center, and checking the Travel Agency.

That's it. And then I lurk the internet for something fun to do.

I'm not quitting, because I never know if something good is going to happen, but I'm starting to get less and less entertained by this website. Everything is the same. A monthly comes out, then a new travel, and possibly an LE. Then, for the rest of the month, nothing new happens.

Post your feelings here, I hope that we can give out some ideas on updates to make Eggcave a website that you can have fun on.

I agree with what you said. Personally I'd wait until the next Egg Cave birthday, in 8 days, to see what things they will organize other than giving us a new birthday special pet.

That's what I've been doing for the past few days.

I'm sure I won't quit because of boredom.

What I do on EggCave now:

Lurk the forums.

Stalk the TC and hunt for UFT Olimpts.

Lurk the TA.

That's it.

EggCave needs fun updates! More new eggs each week, more artists to speed up the work, and, of course, WE NEED EGG CAVE GAMES. Not like Forum games, like games where you can earn EC, like Arcade games.

I don't mean to sound rude in any way, but instead of complaining about something we play a factor into[expecting too much from real life people], perhaps go DO something about it rather than just expect that someone else will fix the problem for you?

After all, posting this on the forum is just going to make others think that Egg Cave is no longer fun as well, which isn't really helping with your goal here...


Besides. There are other things to wait for.
Don't forget that Zac & his team are working on CaveQuest! c:

Nothing we can do to make it better really.

Imma be pessimistic. But it isn't anything a user can change.

A more drastic but it would be like a single person trying to change the US economy. It doesn't work.

@icymuffin Sure, I would join the Eggcave staff and create new creatures and games and activities. But like @balletninja said, there isn't really anything a user can change. Yes, we can suggest things, and maybe Ian is working on them right now. But other than that, there's not much we can do.

This happens with everyone, with just about all sites that are forum based.

What you want to go do it spread your time around to other sites.
Taking a break for a few days will help too 😊

Try the site Meez.com if you enjoy forum based sites.
Just be careful there, their rules can be over baring.

I started playing egg cave seriously less than a month ago so im not that bored but i know that most sites with a low amount of active events dont keep a persone interested for long.

I think a good solution to this problem would be using the eggcave 'world'. Adding more places and more ways to get eggs.Perhaps by finishing 'missions'.For finishing a very hard mission you would get one egg from a group of eggs meant for the mission of that difficulty.
