I'm alone at home. I went into my room to get changed when I heard noises downstairs. I have a hole-thing in my door for mail, and you hear a slight rustle when someone puts mail in. But this wasn't a rustle, it was a struggle. I heard a load of rustling, shoving noises and now I keep hearing creaks downstairs. I would investigate but I am so afraid I'm frozen. I swore I heard a man moan a few minutes ago. The tv is on so if there's someone in the house they would know I'm here.
Sitting.
Frozen.
Legs crossed.
iPod in hand.
And I have to wait 3 more hours until my mother gets home.
Tell me I'm stupid.
Tell me I'm paranoid.
Be happy and virtually slap me.
Just do anything.
Please.
And I just realised its friday the 13th.

Did that help? Get a stuffed animal. Grab a knife. Go downstairs. Scream YOOMTAH! As loud as you can. If anyone comes out, act crazy and pick your nose.

The knife is in the kitchen downstairs.

Okay, wish me luck. Im going downstairs with Phillip the bee and screaming "let's be friends! Yoomtah!" then melting chocolate and if anyone comes out I shall through the contents of the kettle on them. And if I dont reply it's because there's someone downstairs. Thanks XD

Lock your bedroom door, do //not// try to confront anyone if they're there

If you hear more noise, call your mother.

Now, do //not// do what I did

When I hear someone in the house, I grab the closet thing I can to attack them. Usually involving a stick or a backscratcher. My mom had to get my a bat after many failed attempts to get me to stop grabbing horrid weapons.

Listen, there's nothing more scary then the suspense 😸 Like when it's Christmas, the suspense is more exciting than the presents themselves X3 Except, with fear o.o

@cafe good news! I'm //stupid// 😃

I grabbed a stuffed animal and headed downstairs, and what did I find at the door but a big enough bag XD it was the binbags. I'm sitting in my kitchen with a knife and a teddy bee melting chocolate and staring at the insulation truck that just parked itself outside my door.
Do you get crime in your area? I live in a small enough town in Ireland and its pretty quiet around here. But yesterday my mom told me there had been two muggings 😱 that's probably why I was so paranoid.

@asi ^read XD my neighbourhood is really quiet so ive never experienced this sort of thing before.

I //live// right on the inside of a large city, but mostly go into the small town that's only about three streets away from my house.

So, I consider that I live in a small town.

The worst I've seen that we've gotten is this house that kept burning down. People just stopped living in it rofl

@ninjagirl Oh, okay! Another thing -- If you are too scared to go downstairs, you can just run around the upstairs and scream random things like "IM AN AIRPLANE"

And then they will flip out and go O_O
