I know that it already tells me where to put the codes (like for BBCode, I need to use it on forum signatures, forum posts, or anything else that appear on forums.) However, I still don't understand where to put the codes.
Please can someone explain it to me in greater detail?
And I know that this may sound stupid but what are forum signatures?
Thanks in Advance 😊

@crystall00 You don't HAVE to use the codes 😊 They're simply for places OTHER than Egg Cave that you can post your creatures on, and hopefully other people around the internet will click/feed/view your creature(s).

Basically, if you are on another website, you can put those codes on there. When you post your creature, it'll be an image of your creature, plus its background/travel, level, name and gender. If it's NOT an unlinked code, it'll also have a link to it if you click on it. To see what it looks like, just go to your cove and look at any of the creatures in the Cove box - that's what it's like.

Egg Cave DOESN'T accept any of the codes, BTW.
HTML - Hyper Text Mark-up Language - is for web pages and websites (that accept HTML code, obviously).
BB Code - Bulletin Board Code - is for forums. Forums are exactly like the Egg Cave Forum, except *most* forums accept BB code and this one doesn't.

Forum signatures are just things that appear at the end of ALL your posts. For example, if my signature was "ABC", then at the end of my post, there would be my signature: "ABC".

Do you need any more detail? I'm not exactly sure what you're asking... do you mean you don't understand (literally) WHERE on the internet you need to put your creatures? Or which code to do where?

@crystall00 We don't have forum signatures on this forum 😊

It's fine, you're very welcome and I'm glad I could help 😊
