Hey, welcome to Egg Cave! 😊

What I just did is called a ping. You put an @ sign in front of someone's username, and it informs them that you're trying to talk to them on a certain forum. It also provides a link to their profile.
For example, click @pebblestar-nightclan to go to my profile. 😉
