Birds, etc. <3

I like birds, and I was wondering if anyone else had pet birds and would like to share cute stories, training techniques, favorite brands/toys, etc! 😊

I'll start:

I have 2 conures: a 14-year-old green-cheek named Clover, and a 4-year-old sun conure named Momo.

When I used to have the birds in my bedroom, at night Clover would sneak out of his cage, climb into my bed, and snuggle with my face until I woke up. as cute as it was, I would get so angry that he would do that! It's so dangerous! 😱 Anyway, I eventually locked his escape path with some zip-ties, and he hasn't escaped since. 😊

Does anyone else have a cute story they want to share? 😸

I have 2 zebra finches ^^
The female recently layed eggs and I was checking on her last night and since the nest is kind of smell ( its just a little cardboard cylinder container with the top off, its a tight squish for both of them to fit in, so anyways xD
I was checking on them and the bird was sitting backwards/sideways at the same time ( while he normally sits forwards ) and the male was sitting normally. I just thought it was really cute cause she wasnt sitting right & it looked uncomfortable lol

btw, do your finches lay eggs often? I've never had finches, but I've heard that they lay eggs all the time. (or as my friend, puts it, "a million eggs a minute" ) 😃

Yeah she does xD lol I got them in april & this is their 3rd clutch, the other 22 didnt hatch but she didnt even wait for me to take the eggs out! She started her other clutch before I could take the 2nd clutch out, not I dont know which is which. But im hoping this clutch will hatch because I candled a few of the eggs & I can see the veins, so I will find out in 10 days! ( its been 4 ) eggs usually hatch in 14 days. If this cclutch hatches im going to take the nest out after the babies leave so the mommy can have a break from laying.

i have 2 budgies and 2 cockatiels, but going to buy a sun conure/goffin cockatoo/ senegal parrot.😊

I'm not sure if you already know this, but just keep in mind that sun conures are VERY loud. I can hear mine from about a half-mile away if i leave the window open. 😱
I wanted a cockatoo in the past, but they're just too dusty for me. they make me sneeze, and I also don't like cleaning up after their feather dust. :/
I hear senegals are really fun and entertaining, but I've never met one...

budgies and cockatiels are cute, I've had them before 😊 My cockatiel used to lay a clutch every couple of weeks, but since she didn't have a mate, none of them were fertilized
