Hi, recently my little sister got her small, 6-year-old little heart broken by a self conceited Girl Scout leader. Reason Why:1. The leader does not know how to talk to people without making it sound like it's about her or her children. (Even though she might think it is.)2. She changed the day the meetings are held without telling anyone but my mom. So, at least two of the girls (including my sister) or more CANNOT come no matter what. 3. The troop did not agree to the changing of the day and just now about it from my mom. 4. The women apparently does not know what it means to a be Girl Scout and yet she's the leader!!Okay so anyway does anyone if that is aloud? I can't find anything on the rules about meetings and I need help. I know that even if you are the leader you can't just change the day willy nilly whenever you want to cater your daughter's activities. I just want to point out that she started the troop for her daughter and her daughter alone.

@seaangelOh gosh, I was a girl scout forever ago, the only thing I remember is this white girl lording it over me and the other few non-white girls in our troop :\ she was a not-very-nice-word, indeed. But seriously that kind of stuff seems really, really uncool... does anyone else have any helpful info/insight? :\

I was a girl scout way back in the fourth grade... >.> I quit after the first year, because it just wasn't my thing. I wouldn't even call it girl scouts, I'd just call it "Let's all sit around a table and obsess about being healthy and saving the envirornment!" So yeah, definitely not my thing, they can go save their trees somewhere else. XDI wouldn't rejoin girl scouts now anyways, no one at my school seems to do that anymore. đą I did girl scouts back in my old town though, in the 2nd to 3rd grade, and it was okay. There were a lot more kids there, too.

@seaangelOh, good. đI've never done girl scouts because I've never been interested in it...

@dreamerYes, I quit about a year and a half ago. All the girls were brats and did this to make themselves look like they wanted to help the earth. They were air heads in my opinion and we never did anything fun.

@seaangel - I think the best that you should is... well, talk to her frankly BUT in a nice way. đ In that way, she can help change herself and her ways. Tell her what a Girl Scout means or even at least report or tell a teacher about it or that kind of situation. If you inform the teacher about that kind of thing she's been doing and talk to her with the teacher. But remember to be just as calm as ever! đ
