Moon walked until her paws hurt. She sat down for a moment and looked around, something caught her eye. A black wolf. Without thinking she stood up and her tail wagged once then twice. Then rapidly, her ears pricked and she shot off in a dead run at him. She jumped on him from behind and nipped his ears.

Demine was startled as a wolf jumped on him. "What- what are you-" All of a sudden he recognized the scent of the fur. He gasped. "Moon? Moon!" He licked her cheek. "I- I didn't think you'd ever come back." He felt so happy.

"Something just, wasnt right without you" Moon said licking his muzzle. "Something wasnt right without this place" She yipped. "I can be a suprising wolf you know!" She said smiling.

Demine laughed. "Yeah, you surprised me." He looked at her. "I- I missed you. And.. I'm sorry I didn't just drop it before. I can be a bit stubborn at times. I'm just so happy to see you again!"

"I missed you to, and its not your fault. I can be really stubborn when it comes to talking about my parents" Moon said getting off of him. She smiled "I'm happy to see you to!"

Demine rubbed his cheeks against hers. "It's okay.. And your parents? Uh- sorry- forget I asked anything. I'm just glad you're here!"

"I'm glad I'm here to!" She told him. Then a serios look went arcoss her face. "I think I should tell you about my parents... First off, they where half breeds. Hybrids if you will. Foxes and wolves are not sapposed to interbreed where I come from, there parents did before them and they breeded trying to make more Hybrid children. Not wanting the spesies of Hyrids to die off, my brother and sisters all looked like them. There was Hino, he was a big strong male, Kinda, a smart swift female, Moro, a strong and swift female. Then there was me, Moon, the smart little wolf pup. Plain wolf pup. My parents tried raising us equaly but I always felt left out, diffrent. Soon foxes and wolves found out about my parents, they raileyed up together and attacked our den. I, being myself, had gotten mad at my sisters and brother for making fun of me and wondered off. When I returned..." Moon said but didnt finish because the memory pained her so, "I-I found them all brutaly slaughtered. No mercy, my younger sister was half dead and she told me with her last breath 'Run and dont come back, run until you find where you belong'. She told me and passed away" Moon cried.

A shiver went down Demine's spine as he heard the story. "I'm- I'm so sorry Moon." He said as he licked her tears away. "That's a lot to go through.. I'm... I'm so sorry."

"No need, I guess I found what I was looking for" She said with a smile. Then it faided "But that should clear up why being around foxes makes me worry, I have fox blood. That makes me feel like an outcast." She said feeling like running once more. But she knew not to run from her past any longer, she needed to face it.

Moon smiled, "I have usually been treated like an outcast wherever I go. Whenever I trust someone enough to tell them that they always turn on me. That is why I run, I run in fear. I run in shame for being a half breed" moon said as her smile faided into a frown and she looked at the ground.

"Just because, they make me feel out of place. I have always not trusted foxes because of my first freind. Her name was Kila, we lived in the same den and when I told her about me. She tried to kill me" Moon said turning her head away from his.

Demine gasped as he listened to the story. He couldn't believe how so many wolves and foxes could be so mean to someone as nice as Moon. "I'm sorry they make you feel out of place.. But you're part fox.. And you know you will have to learn to accept that." Demine murmured. "That's terrible that she tried to kill you." Demine growled, thinking of the story.

@froggytails I just take the first couple letters from some of the characters in some of my fav TV shows. Like Kila, was Kilala, or another name like Roku, came from Nuroku.

"Its no diffrent than what happened countless other times." Moon yelped "There was Sanga, Inuha, Kagina, Roku, Hayne, Hyno, Plain, Morro... Kuroro..." Moon said naming off a bunch of the people who have betrayed her in the 2 and a half years she ran.

How could so many wolves and foxes in this world be so cruel? "I can't believe it.." Demine said as he licked her cheek. "Just- just forget about them- they have no idea what they had done.. I just can't believe how many creatures can be so.. cruel."

"Half of them lived in the forest where I came from. It was called The Grendine Forest. About 3 forests away from here" Moon said nuzzling into his fur.

Before he got there Moon was already slapping fish out of the stream. "Gonna have to be faster than that if you want to beat me!" She said and started slapping more fish. She had around 5 already.

Moon slapped 2 fish at once and ended up with 12 in all after only a few min of fishing. She slapped one out and it hit Demine in the face. "Oops!" Moon giggled.

Sirius smiled and followed her, her had never been that deep in the forest before so it was all new to him. He looked at his surroundings carefully.
