Why are people quitting because of a few bruised apples?! It's not that they will escape rude people. Can't you eat around, or better yet, ignore it completely? Yes everyone can be rude even if they are the nicest people on earth.

I know that I'm sounding rude myself, I just needed to get this out. If you quit on here because of a few users what are you going to do in real life? You can't just quit. (Believe me, I learned the hard way.)

What would happen if you needed nine apples for a pie, yet there was a bad spot in the second apple? You can't just let that one little bad spot ruin a good pie can you? No, you take a knife and cut it off and then continue making the pie. You ignore it from then on and the pie still tastes fine, even if it is missing one piece from the second apple.

I'm sorry for the rant...and all the food related phrases/stories. I hope I didn't sound to rude, or make you hungry.

I can relate to this. The internet, after all, is full of trolls. And, compared to other websites, we have the minority of them. So why let one or two people, who have nothing better to do than to annoy people, get in the way of fun? I'd worry more about people that were annoying me in real life, because I don't have the option of blocking them ~
Coincidentally, I really want apple pie now...

I know what you mean, on eggcave there are very easy ways to get around the trolls, just block and ignore, quitting over a couple of trolls is just... well... stupid. Especially if you were enjoying the site before. I had some unpleasant happenings during my time here and I'm still here, you grumble at your screen a bit, maybe complain to some friend or on the forum if it's really too much and then you move on, that's life.

Disclaimer: I have nobody in mind with this post, so please don't take it personal. I haven't much of a clue of what's going on these days.

I agree with you completely. I guess that's why I spend much of my time on here. I can just block away the people that are annoying me or are rude to me. In real life I can't do that, and that's where I have a problem I guess. People aren't very nice, now are they.

and not to be all ooo i'm old, well, i am older than most people here, and trust me, everyone i've ever run into on here is kind and sweet and generous compared to the snarling pit bull of adult reality e_e

and all i have to add on the subject of pie is....... if you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe... ;D

I used to hang out on the warrior cats forums before i found eggcave. And omg when i first found eggcave I was like omg everyones so nice, i still thnk that. Trsu me there are places 100 times worse eggcave is not that bad

But personally, I really don't like it when people say that they're quitting and then whine about it. I say, if you want to go, then go. There's no need to make it a big production.
