I've just noticed , 5000CC ($50) For a Tine ??!?!? Are you people crazy ??! Its just a 2009/2010 pixel so basiccally youre paying 50 bucks for a tine 😋 Thats just ... wow ! Now its just rarity , rarity and rarity , why has eggcave changed so fast ? why ? every one contributes to this Rarity thing , thats why , if we just ignore the rarity others will catch on , but for some its just taking advantage so suggest what you can do , my suggestion is that we tell ian , but probably he will take no action .

I KNOW!!!!!!!! I really wanted a Tine, they are just so adorably! I literally traded all my CC creatures and my CC for one! I mean for its pretty much worth just a hallowolf! they are both 2012 cave LEs!?

let me explain this to you like I had to explain it to my mom. xD
Some people collect trading cards yes? And I mean, you can make a nice collection if you don't spend too much money, but it's not going to be anything spectacular or anything. But if you're willing to spend more, you're able to get cards (or in this case creatures) that make your collection special.

And for tines, it's not all about rarity. xD I just think they're fantastic, as well as onnies (unfortunately-because they're both quite expensive)

I see it as a hobby. I don't go to movies, or go shopping, I buy stuff on eggcave. o3o

I agree. It especially makes it hard for kids as we don't have an income and our parents might be unwilling to spend it on pixels.

@magenta Creatures are rare for a reason and you can't change that. If tines are popular, demand is high, and the amount you have to pay for one is more. You can't ask people to 'ignore' rarity...if that's how you think then why not trade away all your rare pets for commons?

If rarity was taken out and all creatures were available as cave creatures or similar there would be no point in trading and you'd be able to get any egg anytime. You would soon be bored.

I often feel frustrated if I can't get a creature I want, but I would still rather have some kind of economy. I'd prefer less 'super-rare, impossible-to-get' creatures, but it's just something that is there and which will be opposed if combated (say, if Macbots were re-released).

Well it depends on how much you think a tine is worth. It is subjective really. A person who really loves tines and desperately wants one would pay more for one compared to someone who just wants one of every creature and does not want a tine that desperately.

And again, if a person is willing to pay that much there really isn't anything you can do, and it isn't your business what people do with their money.

I agree, $50 is a lot of money, but some people have the resources and the freedom to be able to spend that much.
