Argh. >.< I need help!

Okay, so my Great Aunt M (we'll just call her Aunt M) gave me two books the last time I visited her. One I could keep, the other to borrow.

So, today I was asked to grab the borrowed book and bring it back to her. I did. I found it and it was in terrible condition. At first, I thought it was like that, but when I showed it to my grandma, she asked why it looked like that. I told her it was like that when I got it, but she said it was like a brand new book when I got it.

So now I feel terrible. The one that I'm keeping is in perfect condition, too.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, now. My grandparents and I are trying to find the book online, but so far no sign of it.

It's called The Czech Republic by Debora Praha. I was going to buy it online and give it to Aunt M, but I haven't been able to find it.
I've decided that if I can't find the book, I'm going to give my Aunt M twice the cost for the book, and the book she gave me back. It's only fair, especially since she got this book as a guide when she went to visit her family.
As of right now... option two.

I think you are right, option two is the best thing to do if you can't find the book. I will try and search for the book too. If I find anything I will tell you.

The spine is pretty torn up, and the pages are messy. I honestly have no idea how it happened, either. I brought it to school with me. Do you think someone would do something to it there for some reason?

I do not believe it can be fixed totally. The spine may be able to be fixed, but the pages look terrible.

Hmm, I think my grandmother has read that book before. I remember now. She bought it at the used bookstore in town and then took it with, because she wasn't finished with it.

You never know actually. People have no respect for other people's property.

I remember once, in the third grade, everyone was in on the gel pen craze. I had a whole bunch of really great colours. My favourite one was this baby blue coloured pen. Then, one day, I returned from recess to find it gone. I later discovered it in the trash can drained of ink. I was so sad. ☹️

Anyway, I looked on one of my favourite book shop sites, and I couldn't find it there either. It must be pretty scarce because they have everything!
