Dreamer~
In a vain attempt to start a conversation, I turned my head to Ace. "So, what's that project you've been working on?" I asked curiously. Surprisingly though, he looked away from me and muttered a "Nothing" just loud enough for me to hear. Before I could think about his reaction though, he distracted me with a reminder. "You know Dreamer..." Ace started. "Shouldn't you be going now? Dusk is arriving quickly, and that's when the hunting patrol moves out. You're late." Looking up at the sky, I saw that he was right! "Don't think that's the end of this Ace." I growled playfully as he waved his paw away as if to say 'Go on now, Shoo'. Unable to retaliate, I left defeated through a well hidden shortcut I discovered while exploring that led to the entrance of the camp. Jumping out from behind some bushes, I ran to catch up with the fellow hunters, careful not to make to much noise so as to scare away prey.

I sighed in relief as she left. With her distracted for a good hour or two, I went back to work upon my project.

Jennifer stopped every here and then, sniffing the air. There was no prey at all. Not even a single creature! The sky was getting dark. Jennifer's heart throbbed. She raced back the way she came and then skidded to a stop. She turned around and ran as fast as her paws could carry her and shot up the trunk. She grabbed the rabbit they has caught earlier. Prey couldn't be wasted. Jennifer jumped back down and ran for camp.
