Bringing back old/rare creatures

***First off, I didn't put this under 'Suggestions & Ideas' because this is just something I want to discuss.

I honestly think that Egg Cave should have a day or a month (You get the point). Where we can get old/rare creatures/eggs. I think it's sorta unfair how very few people have a certain egg/creature.

A good example is the Doovoo it's Weighted Rarity is only 3.
So it's very very very rare. It was available at the CS, but it doesn't say what year. (Probably when Egg Cave first started)

Yes, I know. That's why it's rare. But it's still not fair. Us newly joined don't have the chance to get that creature.

I think you guys get the point. Now discuss 😊 Lol.

I would love the idea, but other people SO SO SO hard, to get the creatures like a DooVoo, Onny, and Macbot, so it just wouldn''t be fair to them if they re-released the creatures.


But maybe they can do it with Rare Le(s). 😊

Well, I was thinking if the rarity dropped to 1 or 2, then they could release maybe 50 of them on one day, and you have to buy them before they sold out.

this has been suggested MANY times
and rejected MANY times by the "rarity police" as i call them.

doovoo and macbot are the rares because the have been around since V1 and the beginning.

say i traded 50$ worth of creatures for a doovoo, and ian rereleased them. now everyone has them and 50$ out of my wallet has just gone down the drain.

as much as i wish some could be rereleased, they can't. ;-;

Yeah! Perfect (: Or Rarity under 10. And every other month they would have a day just to sell like 50 or something. Haha! Again Perfect.

I know, it was probably hard to get those creatures. But it's also hard seeing a person with a creature you can't get because they are sooooo rare. I get your point (:

I get the point of 'rarity police" not wanting the rares to become unrare and stuff like that. But just imagine how it would be (:
Aslo it doesn't have to be a doovoo or macbot, it could be just an other rare creature that has been around less then them but more than others. Did that make sense?

this has been suggested and rejected too many times to count. When asked about this, Ian has said that he understands that a creature may eventually become extinct entirely, no members of the species left, and that if it does, it won't be re-released. Even if there is not a single one left. So sorry, it's not going to happen.

After the Christmas incident, Ian had stated that we shall never had any more re-releases due to the chaos that went on >.<

Even though Ian re-released the Elge, the Elge was an un-popular creature so it didn't cause a stirrup.

Ok, I get why they can't be re-released if they're just very rare, but if no one has them at all I don't see why not. I mean, maybe I'm missing something, but if they're extinct, then they all died which means whoever had the last ones didn't care about them and just wanted something rare and that's not cool to everyone else.

I sorta understand what Ian is doing. There can be alot of problems and I don't know what happened in christmas. They did re-release the christmas eggs. Like the roo, foo, swornt and treelar.

Yes, they did, but notice only after 2 years. I think it might be about time for some other eggs to be re-released if only for a day.

if people could bring back their dead creatures, even with a price, no species could become extinct 😊 i have lost soo much to my dead creatures and i really want them back >-<

Breeding just won't work for this site, this is essentially a collectables site, breeding sites are set up differently from the start, if Ian changed his policy all of a sudden it's likely a lot of older users would quit.

That being said I do think there should be some rereleases of older pets, just in ways appropriate for the creature. CC pets should only be available in the CSP, even for rereleases, but for cave pets maybe something with an EC shop which sells old creatures during the event in which they were originally released would be nice? For example Tines would be buyable every Valentine.

EDIT: I don't like cave rereleases because of the chance element, the pets don't end up with the people who truly want them, but with the people who get lucky, I don't like that...
