Welcome to the game! In egg cave, you are going to collect different eggs. Some eggs are rare, some eggs are very common. Rare eggs sometimes are only given out for a few days or a month or longer. For example: Moxel can be only found on 20-26 July, 2012.

Views are earn ever time people in eggcave saw your egg. When you set the egg for profile picture, that egg will earn views very very quickly like you cannot imagine. It is wise to put an egg that needs views for the profile picture.

Also, when someone feed your coves, it is kind to return the flavor by feeding the coves back. If someone's cove are too big, you would probably just feed the feature egg.

Also, you can @ someone like how I ping (@) you on top. When you ping someone, the user will get a notification so they could reply. If you have any questions, you could write on my wall!

@prettypony0914 To ping, you type @username_here. When you "ping" someone, you notify them that you have replied to them.
For example, if you pinged me by typing @karamel, I would get a notification (http://eggcave.com/notifications) that you pinged me. 😊

This is useful when you're replying to someone and you want to notify them - they usually see your reply quicker rather than having to check the topic all the time.

what do you usually do with the egg coins?

@prettypony0914 Egg Coins (commonly called "EC" - EC can mean Egg Coins or Egg Cave, you'll be able to tell which one's which) are the site's MAIN currency - the other currency being CaveCash (CC) which can be bought safely for REAL money at the Cash Shop Park.

You can use EC to buy travels at the Travel Agency, buy an exclusive creature at the SAR Center, (hopefully never) abandon a creature at the Adoption Center, book your creatures at Tim's Food Shoppe (for your creature's MAXIMUM happiness), trade for creatures and participate in auctions (see the Creature Trading section).

The above places can either be found by hovering your mouse over the 'explore' tab, or in the forums (for Creature Trading).

You can also deposit your EC into the strongroom (hover your mouse over 'my stuff') and collect your interest every day.

You can earn EC by selling/auctioning your creatures and feeding other people's creatures.
