What does the star that is on some eggs mean?

It means the creature is a star creature.
Originally, eggs with stars were considered a bit rarer and worth a bit more than normal eggs, but after more of them were taken from the cave and star potions became available at the CSP, they're now basically the same rarity as without the stars. Except to someone who collects star eggs. 😋
