Name Trading?

Can someone explain me the name trading system we have here on Egg Cave? Like I see in trade lots everywhere people saying they will pay a bunch of EC just for a name. I think it's a little weird, so can someone explain?

@meta_knight_lover Good names are names that are actual words (like "Eat" or "Small" ). Good names are also names of creatures (like Tasma or Pinkunk).

Extremely good names (like the species names) can go for small amounts of CC or high amounts of EC.

What exactly was your question? Were you wondering what names are good/what you can get for names, or were you wondering about the name-trading system? 😊

I think I was wondering how you exactly "trade" a name. XD And I guess what the point of having the name is. I mean, maybe I'm missing something here...

@meta_knight_lover Say you have two creatures, ABC and DEF (AWESOME NAMES RIGHT xD).
You can re-name either of them to GHI (let's say ABC is renamed). Then you have GHI + DEF.
Then DEF -> ABC and GHI -> DEF. 😊

Good names usually add a bit of value to your creature 😊 Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong 😋

Uhh...I think I understand it. So...like, the people trading eggs for namesd are saying they'll give up the egg for the name? Ay, I don't quite see how this is a big thing on Egg Cave now. (I'm old. 8D) But meh, it's a youngster thing that I'll observe. XP

Now...if you could trade usernames, then THAT would be awesome. XDDD

No egg can have the same name so if you spotted a creature with a name you want for one of your creatures then you send a trade for it. Once you get it, you rename it then give the name to another creature. Then, there won't be two creatures with the same name (at the same time). It's stupid a bit. #)
