School starts up again for me in 15 days... I'm kinda excited. You know, to see my friends, find out what people are in my classes, etc... But I need to do a lot of preparing, so I'm also extremely nervous.

I REALLY need to improve my handwriting, it's a mess, I don't want to start the year that way again. (my handwriting doesn't matter in English, since my ACTUAL writing makes up for it, but sometimes my words aren't legible on paper...)
On the first day I'm going to try to be nicer towards people; and have a better temper.
I still need to shop for clothes, which I hate doing.
My sister is starting middle school, which is hard, so she's going to be arguing with my dad A LOT this year, I can tell.
Seventh grade. I've heard bad things about it. D: Very bad things. But I don't know... I managed to have honors, and nothing but honors, all year last year, can I do it again?
I'm in both advanced classes this year, Math and English, this has gotta be tough. :X
My mom scheduled my sister and me for physicals next Thursday... I really want to make an appointment to have my tonsils removed, but I need to man up and get my blood drawn (which I've managed to avoid since last summer), or else I won't even be allowed in a hospital. And I'm deathly afraid of needles. D:

HELP. ME.

Okay... think about this.
Eight days till school starts, still haven't got my SCHOOL SUPPLIES, and almost all my teachers have had bad things said about them. Oh, also I might have to get a physical, which means I might have to get even more shots that I didn't get yet which I should have had, but haven't, and I'm also freakin' scared of needles. You got it easy.

@Seaangel I don't have it easy. D: I'm REQUIRED to have a physical, or else I can't enter seventh grade. I ALWAYS hear bad things about teachers... I've never had my blood drawn before. I had 7 people trying to hold me down last year, but that needle wasn't going anywhere NEAR my arm. My dad has just been holding it against me, and it's not like anyone's willing to make a compromise or anything... And let's just say, I'm afraid I might have diabetes, which would mean... Even more needles! And I need like 2 or 3 shots, and my sister only needs 1. ONE. I got my school supplies yesterday, but they cost like 200 dollars! $199.34, to be exact. *freaking*

@Seaangel It's O.K. I'm not proud of it. X'D

I don't know... A few binders, some notebooks, a calculator, a protractor, new pencil case, folders, book covers, a crapload of pencils, a sharpener, a bunch of erasers, colored pencils, red pens, lined paper, graph paper, tissues and paper towels that I'm "required" to "contribute" to a few classrooms, a vanity for my lockers (well that wasn't REQUIRED, but...), and a few other things. Oh, and my little sister's supply list, too, including a"milk cart" to hold her binders in her locker. I didn't need one though, because I still have mine from last year. School is expensive nowadays. >.<

Oh guys, you got it easy! ...except for the needles. Thankfully, I had that done really early in the summer. Just ignore the nurse and needle, look in the opposite direction. All it feels like is your sibling poking you with a pin. XD That helps me a lot. And the fact that I only had to do one. 😊

I say that you have it easy because I'm going to start school in 14 days, and I haven't been to public school in 9 years.
9..
YEARS.
I have no freaking clue as to anything. I have to learn how to change classes, and figure out what ALB2 means. And open a locker. ANYthing and EVERYthing! I don't remember anything from when I was grade 2! Dx Oh well. I'll pull through.

Hahah, I think I'll go jump off a cliff... it would be safer then what's going to happen in 2 weeks

@dreamer

What grade will you be going into, if you don't mind me asking?

Also, this might not make you feel better now, but it's nice to keep in mind. If you're not in university, your grades don't really matter. If I think back to middle school and even high school, nothing would have changed if I had gotten 60% in all my classes.

Of course, at the time it mattered to me. But if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have made myself sick about my grades.

By the way, I'm jealous of all of you! XD I will not be returning to school in September. And actually, it really kills me. I want to go back so bad!

@dreamer

You've never had your blood drawn? o.o
Hm, guess I'm just weird considering I have to get mine drawn every six months...

Anyway, best of luck. School can be stressful, but once it's all over, you realize maybe it wasn't so bad after all. So just try to relax and take a deep breath. So, yeah, pretty much what @Solaris said. and I'm not saying don't care about your grades; definitely put effort into your schoolwork. Just don't worry if you do less than perfect. I used to do that all the time, and all it did was make my life a living hell.
