Meilin could imagine his facial expression vividly as she heard his sigh and the uneasy movement. She nearly whispered aloud but caught herself and instead willed him through mind. 'Do it boy... Go on, you know you want to..' she thought, her hazel eyes staring intensely at his back.

Kenneth's curiosity became unbearable very soon.He took the backpack off and putt it on the ground in front of him. The scroll was then pulled out and opened,slowly and cautiously. Kenneth looked around one more time before he started examining the document.

It seemed to be an ultimatum but Kenneth couldn't get into the details as he just noticed a presence near him.

Meilin grinned slightly as the boy took out the scroll. Ultimatum... Wait! The boy has frozen. Meilin sank back into the shadows for him to calm down.

Just with the corner of his eye Kenneth caught a glimpse of a girl in the shadows. He threw two kunai at her. Explosive tags were also attached to the blades.

He used a smoke bomb to help him vanished from plain sight.

Prepared for the attack, Meilin caught the two knives between her fingers with ease. She sighed as the smoke surrounded her, trying her best to see the boy through the smog.

Kenneth grined knowing the two kunais Meilin caught would explode at any moment. He prepared his sword ready to attack head on from the smoke once that happens

She thought she had been prepared but she didn't see the bomb tags on the Kunais until it was too late. She dropped them as they exploded and hopped into a tree, producing a few shurikens and throwing them with precision at his sword.

The shuriken were immediately stopped once they hit into the large sword. Meilin's attack was perfectly countered. The boy threw himself forwards swinging the sword at the female.

He noticed her clothing as he attacked. Se was a part of akatsuki.

Meilin quickly flipped off the tree and landed behind the boy, planted on her feet. She grabbed the scrolls and pulled as hard as she could, hoping they would come with her once she jumped back.

Kenneth felt The girl tug on his backpack, he moved away from her and the scrolls flew out falling down.

Before the girl had a chance to try and catch them Kenneth took of the ANBU mask and used the Great Fireball Technique.

The great fireball technique. Hm, she had underestimated this boy, you would normally have to be of atleast the Genin rank to pull that off. She tumbled backwards into the mist, becoming invisible for a few seconds.

Kenneth wasn't sure if his jutsu hit its target, still he didn't have time to think of that. He was too busy looking for the scrolls.Finally he spotted them in a bush close to himself.

Meilin burst out of the smoke again, running full speed towards the scrolls. She placed her hands on them at the same time the boy did. Her face was expressionless.

Kenneth tried to pull the scrolls out of Meilin's hands pulling hard on the documents.At the same time he was slowly using his ability to calm the girl to the point in which she would perhaps willingly let go of the objects.

Meilin's expression stayed blank, her grip remained tight as if the justsu wasn't working. Suddenly another Meilin appeared from the mist and ran to snatch the scrolls.
