I'm doing this chamber music thing and the song I have to play is Kember Nocturne & Mozart K. 157 III. Presto. It's Presto. I CANNOT play that fast. o.o And I'm 1st violin, too. Are there any tips for me? D:

@awesomeness365I'm 1st chair Viola. *shrug* What's the difference? *voice in back of head says: a lot* Well when I have a fast part I first play the notes slowly until I play them correct. Then I begin to play it faster. And I perfect it at that speed and I keep doing it until I am able to play it at that speed 😉

@awesomeness365When I practice, I go slowly until I've got all the notes, then start going a little faster each time (Note, TAKE BREAKS) Then when you're got the right speed, practice at that speed. It should help 😸-Past violin player NewlifeXD

@awesomeness365 O_o Im doing chamber too..I've been playing for around six years, and playing fast was never one of my things. xD I suggest one bow one note method. For each bow, play one note. Then play regular at a slow tempo, THEN speed it up the key is intonation when playing fast. 😸 the better you know the notes the faster you go. 😃 good luck. 😸
