@mib666666 Are you sure you're selecting the right creature?

Which one are you trying to re-name (and what are you trying to rename it to)?

@mib666666 when you select a creature to re-name if the name you tried to re-name it as is already taken you have to select the creature again to try a different name hope this helped

@mib666666

Do you mean....for example...

You were trying to name a Berr "BerrofsantaC" and instead of giving the name to the Berr, it gave it to a Skreel?

Is that's what's happening? ._.

@mib666666 Is the creature you're trying to rename this one?

I can't see any creature that has been named 'ringo-starr', so it's something to do with the fact that you're not even renaming it.

What's the message after you click 'Rename My Creature'?

(Make sure to ping me when you reply: @karamel.)

@mib666666 Are you sure you're clicking 'Rename My Creature' properly? Sometimes it doesn't register your click.

@mib666666 Wait, I thought your problem was that you couldn't rename your creature AT ALL.

To clean your cache, go here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

From the FAQ:

I recently renamed my creature, but the name is still wrong on the creature image!

Sometimes your browser will continue to display an older, cached image of your creature. If you're seeing an incorrect name on your creature image, clear your browser's cache.

For instructions on how to clear your browser's cache, please click here (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache).

@mib666666 But since you didn't actually rename your creature in the first place, it won't work...

Make sure you're clicking the right creature, then type in the name, then click 'Rename My Creature'.

@mib666666 Yep, it worked, now's the time to clear your cache 😉 Then hard refresh its profile page (CTRL+F5).

@mib666666

Based on my tests, renames have been going through properly. You know that a creature has been properly renamed when you receive a green confirmation at the top of the page after clicking "Rename My Creature."

If you're still seeing the old name, like @karamel said, you can clear your browser's cache because your browser still has the old name cached. Clearing it will fix this.

I hope that this helps! Topic closed.
