As we all know, were not far away from 9/11. In fact it's tomorrow, today as 9/10. I have some questions!

Where were you during the 9/11 event?

Did you have any emotions?

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)?

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event?

I'm going to answer them, see my answers below.

Did you have any emotions? No, at the time I didn't know what was going on, to be honest I'm quite cold hearted.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)? Like a normal day, I might go downtown to review the memorial. Not sure.

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event? Luckily, nope. No one was in the towers that I know during the event.

You may also chit chat about it here.

Where were you during the 9/11 event?
~School but i was like 6 so i didn't know what was happening

This event always makes me sad because at school they show videos and you see people jumping to avoid dying from the fire and then you hear people in the back of the class laughing and I just want to turn around and say..... "You know your parents could have died in that, how would you have felt?!?! So BE QUIET"

Where were you during the 9/11 event?
-science class .

Did you have any emotions?
-no but in the future i did.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)?
-I used to actually hate this day because it is my birthday and now would forever be known as 9/11...a day of sadness for the most part. After the first year I stopped clebrating my bday because everyone around was so sad and I didn't feel right about it. I've gotten over that however and just celebrate my birthday !

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event?
-no but it was difficult seeing families suffer nonetheless.

Where were you during the 9/11 event?

I was in class. 6th grade. I remember coming home during lunch to watch the news with my parents. I went back to school after I ate, but a lot of parents kept their kids home.

Did you have any emotions?

Yes. I was sad and scared. I had nightmares for a little while and I would cry at night. I eventually became so obsessed with 9/11 that I would watch the news all the time and see the planes hit over and over again.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)?

Business as usual. I need to go to the grocery store, make dinner, that sort of thing.

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event?

No.

Where were you during the 9/11 event?
I was in the 3rd grade, it was the start of the school day and an announcement came over the PA, we were sitting in a crowd around my teacher as he read a book. I will never forget the look on his face when he heard the announcement. Pure horror.

Did you have any emotions?
I didn't understand at the time, so no.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)?
Same as any other day sadly. I live to far away from the memorial, but I may have a moment of silence.

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event?
Thankfully no.
But I express condolences the anyone who knows someone who was either in the tower or on the streets to witness such a horrific event.

I was in the second grade. I remember many of my classmates going home and not knowing why until the teacher explained. I remember being concerned, but not freaked out, although I did get a massive headache that lasted for the rest of the day until I went to bed. Then it was on the radio when my mom picked me up, and then when we went to McDonald's...then I started getting kind of scared.

I didn't know anyone personally, but considering my biggest fear is losing a loved one in an explosion or fire of some sort, I truly do sympathize for those who lost someone.

I was in Kindergarten, when i saw the tv with the 9/11 event broadcasting...
I remember being scared and running to my teacher.
`
My Emotions?
#1, its sadness and Sympathy for those who have lost someone/someone really important, and for those who died, trying to get out.

#2. Slightly proud of those really brave firefighters and people who went back in the building and risked their lives to save other people. Stuff like that makes me really proud to live in america.

and #3? Hate. Hate for those awful (i know not a bad enough word) terrorists. Hate for those that caused this event.

and honestly, i dont have any choice but to spend my day at school. >.< Then again, not like i should be staying home like a holiday...pfft.

@jazzyleia Ikr ☚ī¸ At school today they had an announcement commemorating it, and there were people laughing at it. It's times like that where I wish my school didn't have a no fighting policy.

I was at my parent's house, but my parents were really shocked... I was pretty young.

Did you have any emotions?
Yeah, it's a little scary watching the videos, last year we did it, and I kind of had nightmares. Like what the kids there said about it and drew afterwards.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)?
School... and try to relax, the best I can do right?

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event?
No, I was too young.

SAME HERE!! I hate it..i know i was in kindergarten but COME ON!!! It is not something to laugh about.

And the other thing that bugs me is younger generations have no idea what 9-11 is!

Did you have any emotions? No- just wondered why I was being taken home.

How are you going to spend your day (9/11)? I played with my lil bro (according to my mom) and would look at the TV now and then but of course didn't react.

Were anyone you know in the twin towers during the event? Apparently my friend's great grandma died in there.
