I get 418 EC per day at the Strongroom, and I added it all up on a calculater:

If I collect my interest every day of the year without putting any more EC in the Strongroom, I could earn 152,570 EC a year by just pressing a button daily. xD

You may think that 152,570 EC is a good pay for just pressing a button daily, but I think you forgot that you can earn that much in one day just by feeding around 1,526 Creatures, whcih is basically just clicking your mouse around 4,578 times including clicking the 'Next Creature' button abnd the 'Feed Creature' button.
