"What the devil is that?" said the assistant, taking the strange gun and breaking it easily.
He continued to push the girl and the boy up the stairs to Bavelina.

Bavelina was sitting in her chair again yet wasn't resting, she felt worried, like something bad would happen.
Her thoughts disappeared when the doors to the room she was in opened and showed no one other than Travis, the queen's son and Sky, the queen's daughter.
Bavelina's eyes widened and she, with shock plastered on her face, looked over at her assistant.
"YOU! WHY IN OBLIVION WOULD YOU TAKE THE RULERS OF THIS KINGDOM'S CHILDREN TO US!? YOU KNOW THAT THEY WILL BECOME WORRIED AND FORM A SEARCH PARTY!" Bavelina screamed at her assistant shockingly and angrily.
"Oh- oh no, no, no, no... They'll find us, they'll hang us.. they'll kill us... they'll chop off our heads.." Bavelina pulled on her long, raven hair with her eyes as wide as cabbage.

"Well, we found you. And maybe we WILL hang you. Maybe we WILL kill you. Maybe we WILL chop your heads off. NEVER GO TOUCHING MY CHILDREN!!! At least dear Storm is at our castle..." the King hollered. He glanced at Travis and Sky. "And you two... oohhh we have some talking to do..."

Storm waltzed with a potential suitor, but he was not handsome at all, and treated her like a dog. "Get me a refreashment!" He ordered, but Storm just slipped away in her heavy gown to her quarters.

She sighed. "I'll never marry." She swore silently to herself. "I'll be the first queen to rule alone!" She snickered. "Mother would be so... disgusted." She said quietly as she thought of what her mother's reaction would be.

"Oh well. Can't please everyone." She said, and changed into her riding clothes, and slunk off to find Shadow for a long ride through the woodlands.

Bavelina looked like she was going to explode.
She looked around and picked up her staff.

Bavelina shot some sparks from her staff and made her assistant a rat, he scattered off and Bavelina hit the ground with her staff, she transformed into a raven then flew out of one of her broken windows, looking worried and crowed.

"ok dad" SAid Sky running the stairs as fast as she could and saddling up Midnight. "Giddy up girl!" She said galloping back to the castle.

Travis saddled up Milkyway. "Giddy up!" He said and started galloping away after Sky.

Sigmund, having woken up from his fainting... a while ago... (xD ahem) was now up and searching for the royal family. But for Storm, he couldn't seem to find the family, which troubled him. He heard Travis yelling and headed toward the voice, a troubled frown on his face.

Bavelina flew over to a dead tree with no leaves and landed tiredly on one of the branches.
She knew using too much magic would make her her actual age, and Bavelina then would die, so she had to probably wait a few weeks of resting before she turned back into her human form.

Yet she never had to survive in the wild, so maybe she could get caught by someone, become their pet then break out of her cage and go back to her tower!
Bavelina cawed approvingly at her own cleverness and flew towards the village.

After a few minutes of flying, Bavelina finally got to the village.
She landed calmly on a window and waited for someone to notice her.

With silence surrounding him and cloaking his feet, Sigmund took to listening to the nature outside. The voices had quieted and he didn't see any sign of the royals anywhere. He glanced around, wondering what to do, when he noticed a rather large dark bird flying towards the village. That was strange, he thought. Many of Zayfiden's birds were either colorful or vibrant, but none so dark as this one. He paused, blinking, his mind wandering adrift.

Bavelina sat quietly, watching the villagers walk past yet ignoring her.
She cawed angrily that no one has yet taken her in as a pet, what was wrong with having a pet raven? Thought Bavelina.
Bavelina looked around at the skies and saw many bright, colorful birds, yet almost none were completely black, all that the birds had was a little bit of a black, unlike Bavelina.
She understood now, the villagers were happy, so they want happy colored birds.

Bavelina opened her black wings and took soar, cawing boringly and sat at a top of one of the buildings.

As they came home, the king quickly told the queen what happened. "We need to catch that raven!" the queen declared after hearing the story.

The king smiled. "We can post an award to find that bird... And we can keep her in a small cage that sits in a tight closet."

"RICKY!!! We have some writing to..." the queen smiled mischievously.

Sigmund glanced around to see if any other person had spotted the strange bird, but no one was around that he could observe. Feeling utterly guilty for shirking his duties, he trudged toward the villager, moving deliberately slowly as his curiosity battled his urge to go back to his duties.





Edit; just read that last post, so Sig technically could be doing a good thing... ROFL.

Bavelina was asleep with her beak under her wing, she was very still, like a statue and listened for any footsteps coming her way.

Bavelina heard a small clanking of metal and footsteps coming towards her, she looked up and saw one of the castle guards.
Perhaps he could work..
Bavelina cawed and stared at him as he came towards her.

The royal guard stared back at the raven He frowned when it didn't look away, breaking the eye contact himself and searching to see if anyone else had noticed. He looked back at the bird, a sense of unease trickling in.

Ridng through the woods, Storm felt achingly happy. All alone with her beatiful--yet stubborn--mare. She laughed maniacally, freedom was hers at last. She would return to the castle... eventually.

She took out her bow and nocked and arrow, aiming for a small rabbit. Time seemed to slow down as the arrow released, spinning through the air towards it's small taget. Storm smiled as the arrow hit. She brought Shadow to a halt, and stowed the small critter in a saddle bag, maybe for a snack later.

Storm sighed. She might as well get back home, it was pretty late, and she didn't want anyone worrying. She put Shadow in the stables, and expertly snuck back into her room.

"I think I saw her while I was riding home.... Midnight is still hyper a bit..." Said Sky running out and saddiling up Midnight. She rode into the village. She saw a raven. "I thinks it's you" She said inviting the raven onto her shoulder.

Travis shrugged at Sky and walked up to his room.

Storm decided to entertain herself by trying on some of her other pretty dresses. Though she hated them, she did enjoy looking pretty sometimes.

She tried a lovely lime-green gown that really brought out her eyes. She twirled, but that gown was not her favorite. Next, Storm put on a heavy satin pink gown with pretty embroidery.

Bavelina looked over and saw Sky going towards her.
She shrugged without really shrugging and hopped onto her shoulder.
"She knows it's me.. I should probably change her mind about that." thought Bavelina, she nibbled on Sky's ear or show she approved of her taking her in as a pet, yet was just lying.
Bavelina cawed and spread out her wings a bit, then put them back down.

Sigmund watched the princess ride off toward the castle with the bird, his uneasiness fading with every foot they traveled away. Soon he was feeling normal again, and, with a shrug, climbed the road, filled with travelers, back towards the castle. A few times he stopped to acknowledge greetings.

Storm looked at herdelf. 'No...' She thought, 'Not this one...' Last but not least, she pulled a dazzling deep green gown that matched her eyes perfectly. It had real diamonds and elegant silver and gold embroidery on it. Slipping it on, Storm gasped. She looked... Perfectly beautiful. Her untamed curls cascaded down her back, and her eyes sparkled.

Storm carefully stepped down the spiral staircase barefoot, where the prince from before fumed. "I've been lokking EVERYWHERE for you!" He said furious, "Where have you..." He suddenly trailed off, and gave Storm the once-over. "You look absolutly stunning..." He was almost drooling. "Why I must said dear Storm, I must have your hand!" He smiled, pulling Storm into a dramatic kiss.

Storm pulled away, disgusted. "Are you mad?" She asked incredulous. "I would rather die than marry such a beast! All you do is order me around, treat me like a dog! Do you think that it's ok to do that?! Because it's not!" She yelled, instantly silencing the entire room. "What are you looking at?!" She shrieked to everyone, and stormed off to her room.

The queen frowned as she walked into the room. "What has happened here? Why is my baby crying? What's with all the yelling?" she asked, clearly confused. The prince shrugged.

She walked up the steps of Sky's and Storm's tower and slowly opened storm's door. "Are you okay, Storm? What's wrong?" she asked gently, sitting beside Storm on her soft, fluffy bed.

Bavelina waited for the king and queen to come and see their children, hoping they won't get supscious that it so happened the witch, Bavelina, got away as a raven and their daughter has a raven.
She cawed once again and flew over to a window, landing down on it.

Bavelina started pecking at some dirt on her black feathers, acting like a normal, everyday bird.
