For those of you taking Spanish, do you get your names in Spanish?

I got mine today 😃

Hola! Me llamo Catalina! Y tu?

Translation: Hello! My name is Kathryn, and you?

Como te llamas?

Translation: What is your name?

I don't have a Spanish name ( I take French) so my French name is Malika.
But I am fluent in Spanish. 😊 (My mom is from Mexico.)

Translation:
We don't get Spanish names in my class. What class are you taking? Its it easy or hard? This is my fourth year. A lot of the students in my class speak Spanish at home, so it's a little hard for me.

When my Spanish teacher calls on me, he addresses me as Danielle. Although I believe that my name in Spanish would be DaniellA.

I'm assuming that Senor Gonzalez grew up speaking Spanish? The native speakers are always the best teachers for languages, my Spanish teacher is from Colombia and I've learned more in the past month with her than I did throughout the last year xD

I've been taking Spanish since sixth grade... So roughly a year, a little more than that. XD I have a new teacher this year, and @Zafeyry , I totally agree. My teacher is from the Dominican Republic (he has an accent and everything!!! I love that) and I've already learned so much more from him in one month than I learned last year. The majority of our class has aced both of the tests we had so far. 😃 He's nice, but he has strict rules about materials, participation, and being in class on time. He also wants us to speak in Spanish as much as we can. Sometimes I can't understand the exact words he says, but his hand gestures help me out. 😸 My grade is 100% right now.
