@xx-sorry-xxI like to write poems in 15 seconds! That's why that one was so short-I didn't really take more than a minute to do it.

Does it have to rhym?

@xx-sorry-xx Think about what you know about stars. What do they look like to you? What are they really? How does it make you feel when you see a sky full of stars? What about just one star? Where are you when you're looking at the stars? Are you looking at the stars with anyone, or are you by yourself? Do you know any myths or legends about stars that you want to reference in your poem? Try doing some brainstorming first. You don't have to write the poem down the first time...just write down your thoughts about stars, and some words that you associate with them. For example you might write: bright, diamonds, can used to guide ships, constellations, sparkling...you get the idea. Once you have an general idea of what you want to describe in your poem, then you can start writing it down a first draft. đDon't worry too much about rhyming at first. Poems don't need to rhyme, and if you really want it to rhyme, then you can always go back later and change words to make it work. Just get the basic idea down first. Remember...every line DOES NOT have to rhyme. In fact, it's probably better if they don't. Try rhyming every other line, or try an AABBCC etc rhyme scheme. Here is some information about rhyme schemes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhyme_scheme I hope that helps! đ
