Lyrics - the words said in an artistic way, that bring a message.

What are the most important lyrics to you? Just post them along with the song they're from 😊

"The Wrestler" - Bruce Springsteen

Have you ever seen a one trick pony in the field so happy and free? / If you've ever seen a one trick pony than you've seen me. / Have you ever seen a one legged dog making it's way up the street? / If you've ever seen that one legged dog than you've seen me / (Then you've seen me) I come and stand at every door / (Then you've seen me) I leave with less than I had before. / (Then you've seen me) I can make you smile when the blood, it hits the floor / Now tell me friend can you ask for anything more?

Hmmmm.

I used to roll the dice, feel the fear in my enemies eyes, listen as the crowd would sing, now the old king is dead long live the king!

There's so many songs to me that have important lyrics.

How Do You Get That Lonely by Blaine Larson and Why by the Rascal Flatts, both for the same reasons. They touch on an issue and they help you understand.

Skyscraper by Demi. I'm not a fan of most current music but that song has a powerful message. ❤️

And pretty much anything by Nightwish.

I can't thikn of specific lyrics right now. I'm sure I will later.

Oh, I must add 'The Way She Feels' by Between the Trees.

Hello- Evanescence

Don't try to fix me I'm not broken
Hello, I'm the lie
Living for you so you can hide
Don't cry...
