Anyone watch "The Voice" or "The X Factor"?

I really want to talk about this because I'm totally obsessed with these shows right now. 😃

Anyone watch either of them? Who are your favorite people on it? Who do you think will win?

I watch the UK X factor, though I have no idea who's going to win. The competition is fierce this year, since there's so much talent.

@Iceyfira for the X Factor? I want to audition as well, but I don't think I'll be ready for a while. I'm going to sign up for vocal lessons and I need to get over my stage fright first. I'm going to sing in my school's talent show at the end of the year and I'll see how that feels. 😃

@Ashfire I only watch the ones in the US, but they have SO MANY in other countries! 😱

@Lily- I should whatch the X Factor UK; So many British people!!!! I love British people. My American accent is so boring. ;P

@dreamer I watch both. 😊 I also watch American Idol, which is going to suck this year because Nicki Minaj is going to be a judge. My ears are going to start bleeding because of all the "bleeps" that are going to happen. :L

@Spirithawk I saw footage of Nicki Minaj arguing with Mariah-- Those two divas are just a horrible match. >.< AI is trying too desperately to raise their ratings, and I think this is a bit too far. Nicki Minaj wouldn't even no the FIRST thing about talent (I used to be a fan of hers, but now she's gotten ridiculous). I won't be watching this year.

I used to watch The Voice. I saw every episode of the first and last season but I haven't even touched on the third one. The second season was so boring to me in comparison, or maybe I just lost my crazy obsession in singing competitions, hahaha.
How is it? Are there any competitors that you like?

@Mimlia The competition isn't very fierce this year, I don't think. The X Factor has much better competitors than The Voice, but I watch both.

(This is @Dreamer again, being an X Factor fangirl)
READ MY STATUS.

There is the chance that MY 500 VOTES made the difference between life and death for the bottom 2 contestants on X Factor USA tonight (CeCe Frey and Jason Brock).

"CeCe can hit some good notes, but she's not amazing. I like Jason better. He's AWESOME." Quoting my mom.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Jason. He's like a big teddy bear and I want to give him a big ole' hug. 😊 He's a great singer and he'll get signed to a record label. Even if he was eliminated, he doesn't need as much training as CeCe does.
Now, something needs to be done about the mentors. I have nothing against Demi Lovato basing on her music, but she is an AWFUL judge. She butchered her team and she has the nerve to argue with SIMON COWELL, who probably has over 20 years more experience than the little brat Demi.
Anyways, to get to my point.
I LITERALLY voted for CeCe over 500 times last night. Besides Jason, she had the least amount of votes from the entire Top 12. Tate (the mediocre country dude) had the most votes, though, so something shady's going on there...
I'm a CeCe Frey (pronounced "fry") fangirl. She's not amazing, but I love her personality, her ambition. With some more training and control, she'll have a beautiful voice to match her face. XD Lol

But my votes DO matter... I feel special 😊

I've totally spammed this topic with myself, lol.

But this has been such a rough week on The Voice and The X Factor. Melanie and Amanda left The Voice. CeCe and Diamond left the X Factor.

I'm still watching The Voice for Cassadee Pope, but...


But I'm done with The X Factor. It's between a Broadway brat, some country guy, another stupid boyband, and a bunch of girly girls who make me want to puke. (Fifth Harmony should have left a LONG time ago. I hate them so much.) Emblem 3 (the boy band) has had some good performances, and they can actually harmonize (unlike a certain group with the freaking WORD 'harmony' in their name), but you can just tell by looking at those boys that they'd be in a lot of trouble if they're famous. Besides, I dislike boybands. Not just because they're boybands, but because they all sound the same to me and they have the cliche personalities. Eww.

ONE episode of The X Factor has completely lost me, since my two favorites were eliminated in one night. @America, thanks. Thanks a bunch.

I'm horrible with these shows. My original favorite on The Voice was Caitlin Michelle, but she didn't even make it through the Knockout rounds. 'Cause Cee Lo is sexist. D: (just kidding, I think)

But back to X Factor. How did you feel about the results and everything? Between Tate, Emblem 3, Carly, and Fifth Harmony, this show is just a living nightmare for me. 😱 They're looking for the 'x factor', someone marketable, but the people who could sell records already got kicked off! Emblem3 could make it or something, but only for the younger female crowd. I'm sick of that. 😋 I need CeCe... it's finally kicked in days after her elimination that she is just GONE. Man, it feels like she died or something... :/

Well, about the results.... based on what you've written, I don't think you're going to like my thoughts too much. 😋
I was unbelievably pleased with the results. I simply couldn't stand Diamond or CeCe. Especially CeCe. I just found her annoying. Diamond too. Sorry! ☹️

This doesn't really have anything to do with the competitors, but I find Demi annoying as well. I wish she would just leave!

You can have the attitude, looks, and style but you also have to be able to sing. Cece could work on that, but her judge's home performances were okay.

How can you call Carly a brat? She's has a genuine personality and looks exactly like a regular 13 year old. Would you call every teen on Broadway a brat? Some people have to play the young roles. She doesnt take her money from Broadway and spend it on a mansion and fancy pants, she also helps numerous charities.❤️

@Trish THE CHARITY THING. It seems like every freaking person with money automatically donates it to charity. I don't think every rich person on earth would do that (unless it was against their will)...
And Carly is nothing like a 13-year-old besides the fact that she is one. ._. She takes the competition so seriosuly as if she was 95 and it was her dying wish... Dude, she's performed before, she can easily do it again. I see no personality in that girl whatsoever. And she drives me insane. Like the rest of the semifinalists.

But whatever. It's 'reality tv' anyways, it's not 100% legitamite.
And what makes me suspicious of that is that CeCe didn't get a video showing her journey on the show when she was eliminated. Unlike everyone else. Mario didn't even have a card with her name on it...

My favorites never win these shows, but I never expect them to anyways. I still have my fingers crossed for Cassadee on The Voice USA. I can't wait to see how she does tonight! The Voice is tied with the X Factor, so both shows are in the seimifinalist rounds this week. 😉 Only difference is that The Voice gets more viewers lol go figure.

@Solaris I totally expected that. XD Going "Team CeCe" isn't the most popular choice on that show... ._. Kinda like that really annoying girl on X Factor last year who I hated to death because she reminded me of Taylor Swift >.<
I was iffy about Diamond, because she's just too perky. But I really did start to like her, and she was completely overlooked, being just 'another girl in the Teens category," you know. I'll admit her voice did start sounding whiny though.
CeCe is that girl that people love to hate. Either you're going to love her to death, or hate her to death.
...But I love CeCe, for reasons I can't describe. She was so ambicious and she had some amazing performances in the beginning of that. The show deprived her of her strength, and when she tried to fight back, they kicked her out. That's how it goes in the music industry, too. *smacks self* ////end rant again
Vino leaving last week is STILL shocking to me. The fact that CeCe left just started to rub in, and it makes me sad...

it's easy to know who will win in sweden, because there are only really good people and people that... are even worse then me at singing.xD (and i am HORRIBLE at singing)
our shows in sweden are shown in different months, so melodifestivalen (eurovision song contest) in may i think, then the voice, and later maybe x factor.X3

@Neko-chan Really? Here, X Factor and The Voice run together. American Idol starts after they end (so, AI should be starting in maybe three weeks. There's only one week left of Voice and X Factor...) After American Idol ends, America's Got Talent starts. After that... Back to X Factor. 😋

@dreamer I watch UK X Factor and the Voice (because they run at the same time) and after I watch american idol. I also watch glee, but that's not a talent show, but I still love it.
