Sky mewed her thanks and started licking Jacob's face. Her mom had told her that cat's mouths were cleaner than a human's. She thought licking Jacob's cut would help him.

Autumn turned back into a human and brought Storm some more herbs.

Having done everything she could do, Storm sighed sadly, and brought in two more cots; one for her and one for Autumn. Then she grabbed an extra pillow for Sky. Wrapping Sky's leg in herbs, she began getting ready for bed.

Jacob cracked his eyes open an saw he was in camp. Seeing Storm and the girls were alright gave him great relief. Sighing painfully, Jacob fell into a peaceful sleep.

Sky mewed her thanks and walked over to the pillow with ehr sprainged apw in the air. She lay down on the pillow and fell asleep.

Autumn nodded her thanks and fell asleep in her cot.

Sighing sadly, Storm layed down and thought of Clockwork. She needed to give him what he wanted....

Silently creeping out of camp, Storm left for the woods.

sky stirred as she heard footsteps leaving the camp.Her eyes shot open as she heard a screech. There was clockwork in the middle of their camp. She yowled loud enough to wake up everyone else.

Atumn woke up and her natural "fight or Flight" reflex chose fight and she swung out of bed witha bamboo stick in her hand ready to whack the intruder. That was, until she saw clockwork.

Storm whirled to see Clockwork. "This ends now." she said, stopping Autumn. "We'll never beat him. All he wants..." Storm closed her eyes. "Is me."

"Yes dear." Clockwork sneered, "You are correct. I will leave in peace if you come with me." it finished, looking quite pleased.

Storm took a deep breath, and turned a piercing gaze on Autumn. "Autunm... Tell Jacob that... I love him." Her voice wavered, but she stayed strong as she climbed onto Clockwork.

Clockwork flew away.

Autumn nodded and a tear fell from her eye as she watched Storm fly off. "Jacob." She said shaking Jacob.

Sky was sitting up on her pillow and yowling yowls of greif for Storm.

Jacob was confused when Autumn woke him up. "What?" he asked, his voice cracking.

Storm cried softly, the sound like tinkling bells. "Now, now, that wasn't hard was it?" Clockwork asked, but Storm either didn't notice him or didn't care. Jacob....

A wave of pain hit Storm like a tidal wave, and she let out a long wail of greif and hurt. She'd never see Jacob or the others again.

Autumn looked at Jacob. "Clockwork will leave us alone now. Only because Storm sacrificed herself to him though. She told me to tell you that she loved you." Said Autumn her hand on Jacob's arm hoping not to startle him.

Sky yowled so loud. She hoped Storm could hear her. She let out little cries of greif.

Jacob's mouth gaped. "Stupid... cute girl." he muttered, clearly upset, before leaping off the cot and grabbing his sword. "I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS CLOCKWORK~!" he yelled, seething.

Storm heard a wail of grief. It only made her cry harder. Then she heard: "I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS CLOCKWORK~!" far in the distance. Was that Jacob..?

Cackling, Clockwork said, "Only if you find me." sneering, he looked back at Storm. "And you loved this fool?" it asked, incredulous.

"Love." Storm corrected softly.

Sky looked at Jacob. "Oh my gosh my paw's healed." She sad shifting back to human. "We're gonna find him if it's the last thing we do." She said picking up a rusty, dull knife and sharpening it on a rock.

"I'm with you." Said Autumn taking out her bow and arrows she ghad always secretly carried with her.

Finally landing, Storm explored the rough terrain. It was her new home, after all. Setting her hear in resignation, she searched for a place to sleep her pain away.

Sky nodded and put her knife in her pocket. She started walking towards the mountains.

Finding a cozy place under a tree, Storm fell asleep, as Clockwork didn't object. She dreamed of Jacob and the others, and being able to go home...

'It's just a dream.' Storm told herself, waking up. The wounds of her grief were new and fresh, but Storm did her best to hide it.

I'll shift into my cat so I can on to your scales with my claws without hurting you." Said Sky shifting into her cat. She jumped onto Jacob's back and dug her claws into his hard scales.

Autumn just climbed on and held on the ebst she could with her hands. She tightened her legs up around Sky.

Jacob took off, meaning to catch Clockwork or Storm's scent, but Clockwork covered his tracks well. Jacob flew aimlessly in circles for an hour before landing.

"He's good..." Jacob noted. "But I'm better. Sky, I need you and Autumn to stay here; you'll only get hurt." he said, looking quite worried.

Sighing, and feeling bad for lying, Jacob bolted for the woods. "He's too good for me Storm." he cried softly. 'If Storm were here, she'd tell me that I'm a fool for thinking Clockwork's better... that he can beat me...' Jacob thought sadly.

Sky perked ehr ears and heard Jacob's crying. "Mew." She said to Autumn running twenty feet and waiting for her.

Autumn followed Sky to where Jacob was. "Jacob. Sky might be able to help us. Me too. All three of our good scent combined might work." She said putting her hand on Jacob's back.

Sky sniffed the air. "Mew." She walked towards a deep hole in the ground. "He can't hide forever. He's down there. This comes up in the mountains. His scent if there and fresh along with Storm's." She said.

I lay on a cot waking as noone was nearby "Ryan?" I call out confused. "Is anyone here?"
"Shh." The voice was Sammy's.
"Sammy where is everybody?" I ask.
"They all went to look for Clockwork after he came to the camp." She told me.
I burst out of camp shifting to my dragon form to find the evil metal bird.

The second Jacob left to persue Clockwork I left to find him first. I made my way to his cave an exact replica of his stupid snake I went up to him and hissed greeting and he showed me where Storm was.
